My experience with Brock Doors and Windows was exceptional. Andrew, the company marketing agen,t was very professional in his assessment/review of what we needed. He was knowledgeable with which products would suit our application. Jeff (and Heather who arranged the appointment) was equally professional when he came to measure the windows that needed replacing, all the while respecting COVID precautions. The installation crew - Jeff, Evan and Matt, did a great job installing all 10 windows in 1 day, despite it being in the middle of January when it was -15 C!! There was no mess within the house at all. Totally pleased with everything!

This is the 2nd time we have used Sueland Moving and it has not been a mistake. They were prompt, professional and polite...the 3 P's....and efficient!! I would highly recommend this company for your moving needs.

In conjunction with Gary from A & A Heating, I had to replace my A/C unit. Garfield came to my home the same day to diagnose the problem with my A/C unit. He was prompt and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem, which unfortunately for me, required the replacement of the unit. He provided me with a quote for a new unit as well a scope of the work required before he left. He was able, with the assistance of Odette (in the office), to arrange for the unit replacement the next day. Gary (and his sons) from A & A heating were, like Garfield, prompt, professional and courteous. The replacement only took a few hours to complete. Gary also provided me with important information about other products that should be considered for upgrade or replacement. The combination of Allen HVAC Services and A & A Heating is immeasureable. The two companies, working as a team provide, the best service that I have experienced with over the years.

Addendum to my review: There was difference between the rebate offered by the Greener Homes Grant (Ministry of Natural Resources) and the quoted by Brock on a per window basis. Some of my windows did not qualify for the full $250/window rebate; however, when I brought this issue to the attention of Andrew he made sure that i would be taken care of. Brock Doors and Windows proved me a cheque for the difference! Truly, a company that looks after its customers! Thank you Andrew and Brock Doors & Windows.

My recent experience with Tropical Insulation has been nothing short of excellent. Gary came out and performed a very thorough and comprehensive inspection. He showed me photos of the current state of the attic and pointed out areas of concern/safety (which no other company did). He provided detailed price quotation, which ended up being the lowest, which was not the deciding factor in choosing Tropical....Gary's thoroughness was! The excellent service continued when Mark and Atwima showed up (on time) to install the insulation. They were respectful of our property and ensured that plastic drape sheets were put down wherever they would be walking and where the hose would lay. The two worked as a cohesive team and had the work completed in a very short period of time. Before they left a) I was shown before and after pictures, b) they asked that I inspect the area to make sure they had cleaned everything up, and c) wished us happy holidays. That night we were able to relish our newly insulated home....I guess you could say that the entire second floor of our home was.....Tropical! Anybody needing attic insulation would be foolhardy in not choosing Tropical Insulation. Michael

I suddenly found that my A/C was not working. I called AireServe/Rankin Group at around 8:00pm on a hot and humid Saturday evening. Glenn called back within 10 minutes and said he was just finishing up a call and would be at my house shortly. Within 30 minutes he was here, diagnosed the problem with the A/C unit and had it fixed within another 30 minutes! What great service!! What a gentleman he was...thank you Glenn!! Michael

We were in need of eavestrough replacement. Out neighbours have used Milestones and had no issues whatsoever...what better recommendation. I was not disappointed. Luis came out promptly and proved us with a quote (much lower than other companies working in the are); both he and Dorian provided prompt follow-up; the crew - Bob and Charles arrived early and promptly got to work. They both methodically removed the old aluminum while maintaining a tidy work environment. I was surprised to learn that this was Charles' 2nd day on the job because he acted like a seasoned pro...at times he would remove the old 'stuff' and install the new at the same time. I am thoroughly pleased with their work. I’d would whole-heartedly recommend this company. 10/10

This is the 3rd time that my family have used Firemen for our moving needs. The most recent move, Nov 15, 2019, led by Josh, was carried out as smooth as silk!! They came early and immediately started to get organized and prepped the furniture with moving blankets etc. Unfortunately, the elevators in the condo building were having issues and we were not able to put them into service mode, but that didn't phase them...they preserved and got things done. Eventually we were able to get a service elevator and things went even better. On the back end of the move there were no issues and they were able to finish the move a little ahead of schedule. There were no issues with the move - no nicks, scrapes etc on the furniture; nothing broken....no damage whatsoever!!! Would I use Firemen Movers again....most definitely!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate them a 12.
