We selected the Euroshield rubber roof (replacing a 30-year old cedar shake roof) and Epic was outstanding on all fronts. Everyone was extremely professional from the original estimator, the crew doing the work, and the auditors who checked the roof after install. We were absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work they did and how well they communicated throughout the entire process. In the midst of a whole-home renovation and I wish all of our contractors were as communicative, competent and professional as these guys. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Albert came highly recommended to us by a friend who had used him for replacing windows in their home previously. We were looking to replace all of the windows in our home (approximately 30 windows) and received 3 competing quotes. We ended up selecting Exterior Systems. Not only was the pricing competitive, but the quality of the windows seemed to be the best and Albert came across as the kind of person you want to do business with. We have not been disappointed. Albert was very communicative, the project was completed on time and on budget. He was flexible with our needs, our schedule and did an incredible job on the installation. Our new windows look amazing and we also asked him to change out all of the door trims in our house (15 doors, both sides) which he easily added onto our project scope and finished at the same time as the window installation. We have already recommended Albert to several of our friends and will continue to do so without hesitation. He is kind and trustworthy, the craftsmanship of his work was outstanding, and the quality of the product is excellent.

The furnace at my rental property stopped working and we needed someone to come in and repair it quickly so our tenants weren't left without heat. I called a large furnace company first; the earliest they could come out was in 5 days(!). Then I called a second one; the earliest they could come out was the middle of next week! After seeing Advanpro's incredibly high rating on HomeStars (and 270 reviews - wow!) I called them and spoke to Michelle who assured she could have a technician out that same day. Orrin, the service technician called me shortly after to set up an appointment time, and promised to call and update that time if it changed. He ended up being half an hour ahead of schedule and called to make sure that was okay. He called again once he had diagnosed the problem and let me know the costs, then quickly repaired the problem and emailed me an invoice first thing the next day. Three hours from my initial phone call my furnace had been repaired and I experienced first class customer service from start to finish. I would highly recommend Advanpro to anyone after this incredibly positive experience. Thank you to Michelle and Orrin for making it so very easy for me to resolve my furnace problem!

We needed to replace our 200 foot fence on our property. We obtained multiple quotes and ended up selecting Keith's company "All About Service" for this project. His price was right in line with the other two companies we had quotes from plus we found him to be a really nice guy and very professional. His crew showed up on the day promised to take down our old fence and haul it away, then they were back the next day digging the post holes and pouring concrete. They knew it was going to rain the next day so they put in extra hours to make sure all the fence posts were put in. Our entire fence was replaced in 3 business days and it is of fantastic quality. Keith even reduced our original quote by a few hundred dollars as the dump fees on our old fence were slightly less than he had estimated. That kind of honesty, along with reliability and an extremely quality job? I would recommend Keith to anyone looking to build a fence without hesitation! (I know they also do a lot of concrete work and other projects, but I can only speak to my experience with fencing).

Urban Barn is great. It's current and affordable plus it's usually impossible to walk in their doors without finding something cool for your home. We ordered custom couches from Urban Barn in Crowfoot because I love that they are made in Canada, and have a really healthy warranty on them (I think the warranty depends on which couch you buy). Their sales associates are very helpful in assisting with colour choices, etc. We absolutely love our new couches, the quality seems great and the style is just fantastic.

I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience with Cornerstone. You hear so many nightmare stories about contractors that I was really apprehensive when it came time to select someone for this project (custom built ins and a mantle around a newly installed gas fireplace in our family room). But Rafal and his team delivered on every front, they were incredibly professional, exceptionally skilled and they finished our product on time and on budget. Rafal went above and beyond to ensure that we were always aware of what was happening and he took care of our home as though it were his own. I would recommend Cornerstone Renos to anyone looking for a General contractor managed project, as the experience we had was incredibly positive. We did obtain several quotes and although Cornerstone was not the least expensive, the quality of the work, the accuracy of the quote and the trust we felt working with Rafal were worth every penny (and, to be honest, the price difference was not very significant). I did some pretty extensive research on plumbing companies before electing to go with Instant Plumbing for this larger job. Our house is about 25 years old and the pipe used is notorious for failing around this time so we decided to have all of the pipe replaced. Not only was Instant Plumbing's quote the most reasonable, we were very pleased with the job that they did. Our specific plumber was Shaun K. and he was really professional and did a great job. I have already recommended them to several friends needing plumbers and would use them again. One note of caution, should you decide to do the SAME plumbing job note that these guys are plumbers, not drywall contractors and as such, there are many holes left in your drywall once the pipe work has been completed. None of the plumbing quotes we got at the start incuded repair of the drywall either. Time to look for a good drywall contractor now!
