We had a very pleasant experience with David and his team. Communication was very good despite English not being their first language. We would definitely recommend their services if you are looking for a great price and detailed work. Communication was mainly by email and text, but was very detailed. All my questions were answered professionally and everything was laid out clearly before the work started. Even throughout the job, David and his team always asked for our input to make sure that everything was how we wanted it. While the team was onsite, they were extremely respectful of our house and always made sure to clean up behind them without leaving any mess. They placed cardboard on the floor to prevent scuffing and also kept their tools nice and tidy in the kitchen/garage. The work was scheduled to take 10 days which we originally thought wasn't possible, but the actual work was completed in 10.5 - amazing! Keep in mind, this was mostly David and his wife working alone the majority of those days. Despite this, the workmanship was very detailed and not rushed. Everything was done cleanly and professionally. No uneven tiles, no patchy paintwork, or chipped/ scuffed cabinets. The biggest item we were worried about was the farmhouse sink that we had purchased ourselves. We weren't sure how it would turn out as it is extremely heavy and requires a custom cabinet to support it. I'm glad to report that David and his cabinet maker did an amazing job and it looks great! Thanks again to David's family and team, will definitely be contacting them in the future for upcoming renovations.

After last winter, we needed to replace all our 11 windows and we found Ambia on homestars. We got quotes from a few different companies but ultimately chose Ambia because we liked how professional Tony was when he came to talk about his company/products. Ambia was not the lowest price that we were quoted, but we appreciated how Tony did not pressure us into signing with him as opposed to the sale tactics that many other companies used. Tony did also work with us, giving us different options to stay within our budget. The day of installation, Simon and his crew showed up right on time and got to work right away. They were very professional and laid down sheets wherever they were walking. The crew was very efficient and made sure to clean up as much as they could behind them. Simon's team completed all the windows in one day, even though 2 days were scheduled. There was an issue with one of the kitchen windows and the manufacturer (Dayside) did not send the frame with the glass inserted. The frame came with plywood installed in it. I believe there was an issue with the windows pane and it could not be remade in time for the delivery date. Dayside did however contact us promptly and had the new pane installed within a few days. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend Ambia. The job was done professionally and we have no complaints about the work.

My wife and I recently purchased a house in Mississauga without conditions, so we decided to do a home inspection to find out if any major work would be needed. Michael was recommended to us by our real estate agent. Michael was great communication-wise. He was prompt at replying his emails and even helped us book our appointment while he was away on vacation. He was right on time on the day of the inspection and was extremely professional throughout the whole process. We also appreciated that he removed his shoes before coming inside. He went around, outside and inside the house very thoroughly. Coming from a condo, we had many questions regarding regular house maintenance and he was great at answering all our questions and even giving us advice. We received the final report the next day. We would highly recommend 4sight inspections, especially if you are a first time home owner. It was very educational, thanks Michael!
