I contacted Downtown Flooring after checking with Homestars.com to decide on an installer to replace broadloom with engineered hardwood in my downtown condo. Jack Deline, the salesperson, was excellent and answered all of my questions very honestly. I was very impressed with his professionalism and decided that I should do this contract with Downtown Flooring. I had received another quote from a competitor but I believed that Downtown Flooring would be my best choice and I was certainly not disappointed. The installer, Voytek, did an excellent job and he was extremely efficient, cleaned everything perfectly, matched the walnut wood in an artistic manner. Walnut has many different colour variations and Voytek did a very fine job matching the light to dark variations. I was extremely happy with the completed project. I have to admit that I discovered and contacted Georgia Peach Closets quite by accident. I had previously installed hardwood flooring in my condo but since I did not have any referral info, I decided to browse homestars.ca to find a few contractors who would do the job. Since I was very pleased with my contract for the hardwood flooring (also discovered and researched on homestars.ca) and since I needed new closets, I decided to explore homestars.ca to also check on some closet installers. When I initially contacted Georgia Peach Closets by phone, I was very impressed with Hercules, one of the owners. He was very informative, knowledgeable and took the time to patiently answer my many questions. In fact, this is a family business that he has started with his wife. He is a very reliable person, easily contactable on his cell phone (answers promptly), is fair with his pricing and I would have no hesitation in referring him to do similar jobs for both family and friends. The final work was done to all our expectations and Herc was very professional in his dealings with both my husband Joao and myself.
