The existing fridge opening would not accommodate the standard height of most fridges on the market now days. Alan came to the rescue. He replaced the existing over the fridge cabinet with one that was wider and deeper than the existing one (we supplied the cabinet). We also wanted a matching panel we purchased installed so that the fridge looked enclosed and the new white cabinet would look less out of place against the oak cabinets. Alan removed the upper and lower cabinets, installed the new fridge cabinet (no clue how he did this by himself!), add tile to the new exposed floor, installed the vertical panel, reinstalled the existing upper cabinets, shaved off 3/4 from the countertop so it was flush with the gable, shaved off just enough off the bottom of the base cabinet to install it on top of the tile it now overlapped (this avoided possible cracking or chipping the tile) and then he put it all back together and sealed it up with caulking. He intimated it would take him two days but he completed it in one. Alan was also very accommodating with our schedule. I agree with what others have said, hes a perfectionist. We wont hesitate to contact him for our next project.
