We hired Ecocomfort to do our insulation about eight months ago. since then we had a huge storm which ruined our roof and water leaking in to our attic upset half of the insulation that was just done. Calling Patrick and team again they were able to quickly assess and help us once again with our attic insulation. I cannot say enough about this company. They are professional, friendly, knowledgable, on time and helped us once again with our attic and insulation needs.

After a major windstorm where 1/2 of our roof/shingles blew off, we called Marcelo (who came highly recommended) to assess and quote. We did have the option of going with the insurance company but found their contractors/roofers were not up to par with many delays. Marcelo and team first fixed the roof and needed to also replace 13 plywood. He brought a large team and within a day it was done. Next was the replacement of the eavestrough. Amazing work and added leaf guards as well. Except for a minor miscommunication regarding vents, this project was organized, on time, efficient, good post work cleanup and very friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone - already have actually. Thanks again Marcelo!

During a very windy storm three of our shingles blew off. A neighbour recommended me calling Marcello, as he was great doing her roof and her next-door neighbors, and after speaking with him he came the very next day, first thing in the morning and repaired the missing shingles. Within 20 minutes we were ready to go. Very friendly, punctual and reasonably priced. We will definitely keep him in mind when we are ready to replace our roof

Called in Patrick who did an inspection and free quote. He explained the different options and we ended up going with a full rip and replace along with the sanitization of the attic prior to them putting in the new insulation. Paul and Louis came in to perform the work. They were on time, courteous, completed the job in the timeframe that was stated and they cleaned inside of the house and the driveway of the outgoing pink insulation. They even double check to make sure that the exhaust fan we installed two years prior in the bathroom was installed an exhaust incorrectly. I will highly recommend this company

We hired Miro to do a complete rip and replace of our backyard and our high deck. They were fabulous! Miro spent a lot of time with me upfront creating different designs for what we had envisioned. He offered great suggestions which we ended up landing on. The crew that did the backyard and the new stone interlocking with a river rock bed and stairs going to the ravine was absolutely wonderful - Led by Chris. For three weeks they worked hard and completely cleaned up after the job was done. As for the 20 x 10 ft high deck That too was very well done. We ran into a few hiccups regarding the deck but nothing that couldn’t been overcome (ie permit and sizing issues, slight railing issue that Steve promptly came back to fix and the cleanup throughout could’ve been a bit better). We are looking forward to hiring Miro again to finish up the cladding for the posts and enjoying this summer in our new backyard and deck!

Very happy with Surrge from beginning to end. The quote was sent promptly with a follow up as well. They answered all my many questions and the day of the panel install they also replaced for light fixtures, corrected an issue with one of our outlets and of course the fan install in the bathroom. Everything was done on time and they explained all work completed to us at the end. thanks so much! Edit update: although the initial job was done well I’ve been trying to contact this company for a few months now to come back and recheck some of the work. I have not been able to get a hold of this company either by email or even messages through homestars. I know they’re still in business because there are recent comments on site

After discovering we had a slow leak from our 30 year old toilet I researched companies on home stars for a good plumber. I narrowed it down to three companies which I chose Sam’s company to come in and do a free assessment. He also agreed replacing these toilets (we ended up replacing both our old toilets) would be more beneficial than fixing a very old toilet. He was extremely responsive, very efficient and the price point, although a little higher than some of the other companies, was good. The only reason why we didn’t give him a perfect 10 was we had to use our own towels as a dropcloth and, unlike other companies I investigated the toilets were not disposed of, only brought to the curb. I am very happy that I have now found a new plumber for any of our plumbing needs. Thank you so much Sam for all your help.

Great job all around. From the initial quote to complete window cleaning in and out. They arrived on time and within two hours, completely finished. Will absolutely call them again !

Wonderful job by Joseph and his team. After many months of research we decided to go with Joseph for an A to Z project. They not only had to install the hardwood but a complete removal and disposal of the Parquet and, where needed, fix/nail the subfloor. They completed the entire 1100 square-foot job in four days. That also included lifting of the nosing on the staircase and replacing the quarter round. They were very good at cleaning up afterwards which left me very little extra cleanup to do once they were gone. They even went the extra mile and put the felt pads underneath ALL of the furniture so it wouldn’t scratch our new floors. Thanks again Joseph!
