Nothing has gone right with this job. The job ended up costing almost double the orginal quote. The job was supposed to be complete by July 23rd & is still not complete a month later. $1200 was paid up front for materials which were supposed to be delivered next day & the majority of work done the next day. The shingles did not show up and neither did Mike! Mike does not have the materials and equipment he needs. He constantly has to borrow or rent equipment and then complains that he is losing money because of it. I assumed when he quoted on the job that he had the tools need to do the job, since he advertises as a Roofing company. Mike only shows up when he is looking for money. Every day he promises he will be back to finish the job and every day he has another excuse why he didn't come. 3 weeks ago he said the job was complete and it turns out that it is not & he needs to come back and finish the "capping". Mike was supposed to do clean up and take away the garbage. After 4 weeks of waiting I finally did this myself and spent 2 hours picking up old & broken shingles, wrappings, nails etc. lying all around the yard. Mike originally said he was going to take off the old shingles but he just nailed the new shingles on top of the old shingles. When we called this company for a quote we just assumed that a roofing company would have the tools needed to do the job they are quoting on. These are standard tools needed to do the job!
