Justus did a great job on our basement renovation and fence fixing. He put in new windows, matched the outside, drywalled, painted, matched the original flooring - and did a great job on everything. He was on time and on budget. I would recommend his work.
We bought all new appliances from Tasco about 2 1/2 years ago. At teh time teh service was ok and i was able to negotiate a reasonable deal. We bought the extended (4 year) warranty on pretty much everything - oven, gas cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer. We have had issues with our cooktop leaking gas - it was replaced and resinstalled by Tasco within the first six months. About a year later the gas smell had returned. Tasco sent a repair company that wanted to charge us the second he walked in the door, told us we needed extensive work to replace the gas pipes etc. Tasco said they were not responsible and would not pay. After lengthy calls, they were going to get back to me about helping pay for part of it but never did. In the meantime we had a licensed plumber friend come and check it out. He tested everything tightened one spot and said nothing had to be replaced. It has been several months now without any gas smell. Tasco only uses the one company to service gas cooktops - clearly they are not above board and try to charge for work that is not necessary. Long story short - Tasco does everything to get you to buy there, but when it comes to service after you are on your own - even if you have purchased the extended warranties.
We are sorry that you had an issue with you gas cooktop. Proper installation of the appliance and gas lines are intergal to the use of the appliance. Should you require service again under extended warranty please call Tasco's Customer Service and Extended Warranty at 416 642 5600.
We went to the Fireplace depot with pics of our room - the girl who helped us initially did not take into consderation the ac unit we had above the fireplace. Riz came to our house, recommended a new unit and took care of a refund on the diffrence. He was professional, knowledgeable and able to think outside the box to solve our problem.
