Focus of the design was to be the hardscape (driveway, patio, walkways), but most of the design effort was spent on plantings, etc. Several desired features were not incorporated into the design, and it took several iterations to revise. It seemed that the designer felt she was starting from a 'blank slate' instead of modifying the existing design (keeping aspects that we as clients wanted encorporated into the design). Also, cost was rather expensive....

At Dusil Design we deliver more than what the client expects. In this case we designed the full property for future garden and construction renovations. The client expected only a few changes and we delivered more. The client is not expected to follow through with all but if they want to change a few gardens in the future than they already have a full plan.
