New Roof - Bad Experience We had a horrible experience with our new roof. Larry gave us a great sales pitch which he talked about best practices however what we actually got was poor workmanship, poor clean up and poor customer service. We were diligent and did our homework before choosing which company to give our business to and we feel that AM Roofing was the wrong choice. The crew worked on our roof late into the evening using flashlights. Following the completion of our roof and inspection by AM Roofing I performed my own inspection of our new roof and property. I was surprised to find numerous exposed nail heads and other various signs of a poor roofing job. If I can provide some advice to our fellow readers take it upon yourself to safely inspect your own roof. Please don't take for granted that the crew did the job with the level of workmanship you might expect. From the ground your new roof looks great, however you can't see potential problems from the ground. AM Roofing sent out their repair guy several times to make the necessary repairs to our new roof. I was told that our new roof is now fixed and completed as far as AM Roofing is concerned as It meets industry standards. Maybe not to our satisfaction but we felt like we were going around in circles and getting nowhere. Its sad when we cannot recommend our roofing contractor to our neighbors. Pictures provided below show our 2 gables one of which is fine and the other was repaired by filling in the hole/gap with black caulking rather then fixing the shingles and eliminating the gap.
