I knew Mike through work a number of years ago. I knew what type of guy he is through work: honest, detail-oriented and professional pretty much sums it up. Although our career went separate ways, I knew he was the right guy for the job when it comes to house inspections. We recently purchased a new home (3500+ sq ft). Mike went through every little corner of the house to make sure the house is built according to code. This included roofing, exterior (walls, materials, drainage, flashings, caulking etc), Electrical (wiring, service box, distribution systems), Insulation and Ventilation, Plumbing, Floors, Windows, Doors and Frames, Interior paint and trims, Appliances (testing and running all appliances), bathrooms (testing all the water faucets and tubs) etc. The whole process took over 3 hours, and Mike would meet with you to summarize and review all the findings immediately afterwards. Within 24 hours you will receive a detailed report (50+ pages) along with all the findings and recommendations. He would also take detailed pictures and point to problematic areas that’s easily identifiable. Mike was so detailed and experienced that he would notice things we could not. Mike is the best INVESTMENT you could spend before acquiring your new home. DO IT. You'll be thankful to have a guy like Mike to conduct the thorough walk-through and inspection with you to make sure you are getting what you're paid for. Great guy, excellent communicator, and everything was seamless and convenient. Do yourself a favor and hire Mike.
