Wendell has taken care of two jobs for me in the past year. In the first, he and his crew replaced the terrible drop-tile ceiling and fluorescent lights with a drywall ceiling with pot lights, raising it over the kitchen by about 8 inches, and painted walls in the kitchen and adjacent open area, which functions as a play room. Even with sun streaming in through the window, you can't see a seam. It's perfect. This, however, only made the rest of my kitchen look terrible, so about a year later, I had him replace all of the cabinets with some from IKEA, replace the backsplash and counters, and put in a new cork floor. Everything looks amazing, and Wendell's pricing is extremely competitive. Also, he's super-nice and a pleasure to work with. He even made sure that I had the sink and dishwasher hooked back up again really quickly so that I could get through the rest of the reno without having to do dishes in the bathtub. Highly recommend. The price listed does not including cabinets ($4500), materials ($700), or the ceiling/painting from the first contract.
