Did a kitchen renovation a couple of years ago and had a direct buy membership. Membership fees can be a bit expensive per year but so worth it if you plan on purchasing a number of home items (furniture, blinds, appliances, etc.) and definitely a must when renovating. It's best to go there with a good idea of what you want as there is lots to choose from and it can take awhile to make a decision. Met with Gary to design the kitchen, he was fast, efficient and cost effective. It was about $600 for the kitchen plans and you need to provide very accurate measurements but well worth it and included changes. Always hire a kitchen designer before renovating your kitchen! Ordered a beautiful new kitchen, pantry, granite countertop, sink and door knobs. The cabinets and sink came slightly faster than what they predicted. Delivery was a mixup and the only real issue we had. A couple of the cabinets came slightly damaged but our contractor was able to fix them easily and the kitchen manufacturer through Direct Buy covered the cost of the repairs. The kitchen is so much more enjoyable, larger feeling, beautiful and with better use of space. I even have a few drawers that are hardly filled! I've used my membership for other things, but this was by far the best use of it. I saved so much money and got what I wanted.

Canar Rock Products has a great selection of landscape materials however, it is difficult to get them in any reasonable time. I went there a couple of times for some paving stone for my patio and had to do a couple of trips. The chaos in the yard for parking is unreal especially if they have any large trucks being loaded. It is very tight quarters and you have to be very patient as things can get quickly backed-up. I don't want to go back anymore because getting in and out of there is difficult and takes a lot of time. However, if you have lots of time and patience their selection is good and their prices are competitive.

We had a car go through our back fence in the previous winter. Antrim came out within 24 hours to clean up the debris scattered across the yard and put up a temporary barricade on the fence. Once Spring came, they quickly rebuilt the fence section and cleaned up the area. We are very happy with the service, speed and professionalism.

I found this company by searching online for wall beds. Our interior designer had recommended one as a guest bed that would look great and not take up space. We liked their selection and the price was right. Their showroom had lots of samples and they were extremely helpful. Their entire staff were so pleasant to talk to and work with...we asked tons of questions and they were so patient. They could make just about anything you could dream up and build it well. We had them intall a wall bed. It was done in a day and looks perfect! The mattress that they supplied (for only $50 at the time) is so comfortable that every single one of our guests say they have a great sleep on it. In fact we prefer to sleep on it in the summer. Its so handy and comfortable! One of best buys in our basement renovation. I couldn't be happier!

We looked at other flooring companies first but didn't find the contemporary carpet style that we wanted. It seemed everybody carried all the same product lines. Then we came across this store and they carried alot of the popular ones but also alot of unique and interesting carpeting styles and types. We found the perfect one and picked the color. They ordered it and then I realized that I picked the wrong color to go with our furniture! I called them as soon as I realized and I thought it was already too late but they were able to make the change. It arrived quickly and they were very fast to come and install it. We still love our carpeting and receive compliments all the time. It cleans up well too!

We looked at laminate samples and we were very lucky to find the one that matched our existing flooring even though it was installed a fews years previously by the builder. Their price was very reasonable and they were able to install the floor in a couple of hours. We had them back to repair damage that we had caused in our living room and they were able to replace the area and match it so that you couldn't tell that anything had ever happened.

We had purchased a large glass coffee table with marble support from Big Comfort at the Home Renovation show. They said it was out of stock and would take 6-8 weeks to receive which would make it early December. We received a call a week or two before we were to get it saying that it was still backordered and that it would not be here until late January and we said that we still wanted it and would wait for it to come in January. It has finally arrived and now it needed to be delivered. After 3 botched attempts of the company to deliver it, I had had enough. I had to take days off work to make myself available for the delivery. They promised to deliver it one day and not show up and another day we would receive a message saying that they tried to deliver it but no one had called to arrange the delivery day beforehand so how were we supposed to know that they were coming. They were mad because we were not home and said we need to pay for the delivery again. I called the store to talk to the manager and said this was ridiculous and that I was so mad that I wanted a refund after the poor treatment and taking days off work. He said that they promised that they would deliver the next day and gave me a 2 hour window so that I wouldn't have to wait all day. I agreed to let them try and deliver it one more time. They come on time to deliver and starting unpacking it. The coffee table was broken and beyond repair. The delivery guys were helpful and called the manager to let him know about the breakage. They asked if I still wanted to take the bottom which was still intact. I said no, what was the point? The manager wanted to leave the bottom here and charge me for that portion while I waited for a new glass top to come in (again another 6-8 weeks hopefully). I said that was enough. I had waited almost 6 months to receive this coffee table had horrible service so I wanted a refund. He said that they did not give refunds and only an in-store credit plus the cost of restocking fee. I said how can you charge me a restocking fee when I never received it? I said that I didn't agree with this and that it was not settled. I went in person to the store to talk to another manager and said that I would not be satisfied unless I received a full refund. They tried to get me to take an in-store credit again and I said after the horrible experience I had with your company do you really think I would want any furniture from you? He reluctantly agreed and said it would be a couple of weeks for the accounting department to process the refund. Fortunately we were fully refunded and have never gone back there again.
