Our house is about 35 years old, and most of our windows were the original ones, and really needed replacing, as they were drafty, or had been painted shut by previous owners. Alex came in to give us a quote, and was very helpful in explaining all our choices and financing options. We ended up getting 10 windows replaced - installation was done today and they crew were great! they were super efficient, and cleaned up everything very nicely. After they left, I had an issue with one of the windows. I called our rep, and he personally came over to rectify the issue. It's only been a few hours since the windows went in, but we can already feel the difference with the warmth in the house. We are pleased with our decision to go with Canadian Choice Windows & Doors, and would (and have) recommended them to friends.

A few months ago, half of the outlets and light switches in our kitchen stopped working. after taking a few looks at it, and determining it was not an issue with the fuse, or something that could be done easily, I started to look for an electrician close to my home. After doing some searches on google, and homestars, I contacted a company that has moved on to commercial electric issues. He kindly recommended another company - HL Electric, and provided me with their phone number. I contacted them on a Monday evening, and spoke to Gilles. We made an appointment for the Wednesday morning of the same week. From the moment he arrived (on time!) and throughout his time at the house, he was extremely polite. He was very knowelegable, and was able to diagnose and fix our issue in under 45 minutes. My husband and myself were extremely pleased with his work, and attitude, and I would highly recommend them, for any job (large or small).
