These guys have been great, I usually ask for Chris and I recommend him to anyone who has need of appliance service. The office is well run and the office manager is very efficient at getting back to you and booking you in as quickly as possible. I have never had a sense that I was being railroaded, I trust Chris to give an honest assessment and get the job done at a reasonable price. I will have them fix any of my appliances. the only ones I will call.

I purchased a custom made sofa from Sklar Peppler. - It was $3400.00 (our family scrimped and saved) - It immediately started to snag and pill and cushions sagged. - Could not get action, this company refused to stand behind their product. Denied any responsibility, blamed it on the mill, and the mill took no responsibility. - After many months of persistence, two cushion casings were replaced with the same defective fabric. - It is a scratchy, chaffing, sloppy cheap sofa that I over paid for. I have had to admit defeat, I got suckered. - My advice is, do not buy custom made items from them. ONLY IF it is on sale at the back (many returns there) make sure you can see exactly the item that you are purchasing in the flesh, sit on it, look at it, look for authentic labels that say where its made, not that it is just imported for Sklar Peppler. If you custom order chances you will not get the fabric that you chose, is very high. If anything is wrong or defective, you will not get a refund that isn't even a possibility. Don't risk it - go somewhere that has many many reviews and who stand behind their products. - I have given up on Sklar Peppler. they keep tying to class up their warehouse but the bottom line is they cant deliver quality goods. Only cheap imports, from goodness only knows where.

If there was a rating higher than 10, I would give it to My favourite Plumber in the world Mr. John Dima. To say he is a true professional is an understatement. He saved my home from certain disaster, after I thought I could try my hand at plumbing (what was I thinking) John is an absolute perfectionist and from the first moment I met him I knew he had this, and I didn't need to worry about it anymore. His quote was reasonable, and he worked for hours along with his equally gracious apprentice, until my problem was no more. He went above and beyond what expected and attended to several things that were confusing me about the job as well. I chose Mr. Dima based on his Homestars rating, and the multitudes of positive reviews. I was not disappointed! He told me if I had any problems at all, he would come right back and remedy the situation. I realize that the more positive reviews he has the more in demand he will be, and the harder it may be for me to get him the next time. However, John you deserve every single positive thing that has been written about your work, your work ethic, and who you are as a genuinely dependable person. Thank you so much! The Goodyears
