I also chose American Standard equipment based on the opinions of people on that forum. The guys were professional, prompt, highly skilled and very helpful. Brian advised going with a Rinnai tankless hot water system, which I am delighted with. In addition, I also have a top of the line modulating American Standard furnace, aircleaner, air conditioning unit and Honeywell TrueSteam humidifier. It has been several weeks since the installation and I have had no teething problems whatsoever, everything works like a dream. They also returned the bulky 60 gallon tank to First Direct for me. No mess, no fuss or bother. Superb people to deal with. I highly recommend you contact Brian Ripchensky if you are considering making any changes to your HVAC system. I am also expecting over $2,000 in government rebates.
