A friend recommended Grant painting for kitchen cabinet painting, so I contacted Ian Grant. He ended up giving us what we felt was a very fair quote for the painting and build of 2 additional deep drawers to fill a space. The end-result exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely I would refer them also. Furthermore, since we needed new flooring and backsplash, as well as a new counter, Ian referred us to other contractors who also did great jobs...we are very happy with the fresh new look of our kitchen.

If anyone is looking to upgrade or repair their stairs in the house, I highly recommend “Father & Sons Custom Railings”. They ripped up our old ugly carpeting and railings, and replaced with hardwood. The transformation is amazing, and the craftsmanship is fantastic! Here are some before and after photos…

I wanted a fall/winter servicing done for my furnace as we approach the bad weather...as many times before, I called ABW and they were responsive and accommodating of my schedule to get a tech out for the work. The Tech (Greg) was friendly, professional, and did a complete job (and left me the specs of what he tested). I have used ABW for many activities (installing a water heater, pool heater, gas fireplace) as well as performing maintenance. In my opinion, they are great and have reasonable prices, so I have no reason to look anywhere else.

I have a flat roof over my garage that has leaked for several years causing a mould problem in the walls. I have tried to find a company that does flat roof work, but many declined. I finally spoke to Denis at Alps...he came out within a day, took measurements and gave me a very fair quote In the fall which he honoured this spring. I ended up getting 4 contractors to bid and chose Alps...I could not be happier with that decision. Denis and team showed up on short notice and did a great job. They worked a 12-hour day the first day and completed the job in 2 days...they were friendly, dedicated, and very professional. At the end of day 1, they cleaned up completely so there was no mess on my driveway. If I have another roofing project, I wouldn’t bother getting other quotes...I will call Alps Roofing.

We found Pro-Loc through HomeStars...our initial impression when meeting Paul was very positive. We had several quotes, and all showed well, but there was something that really made us comfortable with Paul and his design. In the end, what a great decision...despite the poor weather this spring, they completed the work in record time, were accommodating to my last-minute requests, were courteous, and cleaned up well every night...but in the end, it’s all about the deliverable...it is amazing, we are so pleased with it. Highly recommend them!!!!

Called Tornado based on a review I saw here about how happy they were with the modifications they had done in their laundry room. I needed new piping and valves installed to allow a remodeling of the area. Serhly came out, gave me a free quote that I found very reasonable. He came across as knowledgeable and honest, so I hired him immediately, so he came back the next week, and completed the job within less than 2 hours. I am completely satisfied with the quality of his work...I have stored his number and will definitely use Tornado plumbing for any future plumbing needs. I have already referred him to family and they have used Tornado already.
