We had a few painting projects (i.e. refinishing our kitchen cabinets, spray painting an office with lots of mouldings, painting trims, doors and closets and stripping/restaining a wood desk) and everything was done to perfection by Roger and Iana. Our neighbours used Pro Loc about 5 years ago to redo their driveway/pathway. You can tell that the job was well done as their driveway still looks brand new, so we decided to give them a call for our interlock/stone project. The work we wanted to do was extensive, i.e. sloped driveway (interlock with concrete base), two retaining walls, front pathway and steps. Paul came by and took the time to explain the different options with respect to structure, design and types of stone, and answer my numerous questions. It was clear that he is very experienced and cares about his work. He also gave us all the information necessary to understand the work needed and make informed decisions, so we decided to go with them. Alex/Bill and their crew were very competent, efficient and professional. When there were decisions to be made about specific aspects of the project, Alex would discuss them with me to ensure that we would be satisfied with the results. The finished product looks amazing and fully met our expectations; we recommend Pro Loc without hesitation.

We wanted to change our kitchen tiles without changing our cabinets and granite countertop, as they were still in good shape. Some companies told us that they would have to dismantle the entire lower cabinets including the large island, and remove the countertop in order to do a proper job. We were not very keen on doing that because of the risk of breaking the granite countertop and the extra work of removing the cabinets. We then called JBG tile to come take a look to see if what we wanted to do was feasible. Mike came to our house and assessed the situation and confirmed that they could change the floor without having to remove the cabinets and that they could tile under the island without having to dismantle it. So we decide to go ahead with them, and change the kitchen floor and backsplash, as well as the laundry room floor. Mike was very professional and accommodating. His coordination of the work was efficient and his communication with us was excellent throughout the project. His team was skilled, friendly and punctual. I would highly recommend using JBG tile for your next tiling project.

Our kitchen was in need of a refresh but we didn’t want to change the cabinets as they were still in very good condition so we contacted Imran at Sweet Refinishing. He came to our house within a short timeframe and provided a quote the same day. We ended up painting the kitchen cabinets, changing the soft close hinges, as well as painting the master bathroom cabinets. Communication was good most of the time throughout the project. They took the doors and drawers to be painted offsite and spray painted the cabinets and island onsite. The guy who came to tape and spray paint the kitchen (to ensure that the spray paint does not go anywhere but on the cabinets) did a very thorough job and the quality of the work was great. The doors and drawers were ready a few weeks later and a team of 4 people came to reinstall them; you can tell they were professionally painted as the finish is very smooth and beautiful. We encountered an issue with the knobs, ie while we were waiting for our new knobs to arrive, they reinstalled the old knobs but screwed them very tight (which should be a good thing as you don’t want them to turn); however, when came the time to change our knobs, the paint came off from under the knobs on some of the doors and drawers. We did some touch up with the leftover paint we had so it looks fine now (the moral of the story though is that if you are planning to change your knobs, wait until you get the new ones instead of installing the old ones in the meantime). Overall, we were very satisfied with the work performed and the end product and would recommend their services.

We were renovating our kitchen and decided to update the under-cabinet and over-cabinet lighting to LED’s as well as installing new light fixtures over the island. It was a pleasure to deal with Rocco and his team as they were extremely professional, courteous, friendly and accommodating. They explained the options clearly and communication was excellent throughout the project. There was a minor issue and Rocco sent someone right away to take care of it. You can tell that Rocco considers his customers a priority. We have been totally satisfied with our experience and would definitely recommend their services.

We are very satisfied with the service from Hometurf. The price is fair. Our grass definitely has less weeds than before we started using them. I like the 10% early bird discount but I think they should also apply it to the automatic renewals (this way clients would have a hassle-free automatic renewal - right now, if you neglect to pay in advance and your service automatically renews, you get charged full price). Overall, I would definitely recommend.
