We hired Parliament Contracting to rip off old siding, re-insulate the exterior with rockwool and install new siding and trim. We found them here on Home Stars and we were impressed with their long list of completed jobs that were willing to vouch for their work. From the outset Tyler was great to work with. He was quick to provide a quote and answer any questions. Liam and the crew worked diligently and did an amazing job. Special mention goes to Liam for the thick trim work around the windows, doors and up close to the soffits. It looks great and many neighbours have commented on it. During the renovation, a exterior water spout was pulled too far out by one of the crew members but Tyler made sure it was repaired and functioned properly again - at no charge to us of course. Also, after some small derecho damage, the crew returned and did an excellent job repairing the damaged siding. We highly recommend this company. Tyler and Liam run a great operation!

Two other highly rated companies wanted to do more work than I asked for. Not DrainPro, they did not try to upsell me on thousands of dollars worth of work not needed right now (and I'm quite handy, so I knew what the others were up). Tyler's work was excellent. He didn't rush through the job to run off to another one, showed me the progress and was very meticulous to not break or damage any of the current tile and grout work or cut out too much drywall on the other side of the wall. He was also sociable and easy to trust. A job well done and we will definitely be calling DrainPro again for other work down the road!

From the outset, Ring Electric showed they were the best electricians that I've dealt with (4 others in the past). Their booking and quoting system is very efficient and Bryan is very knowledgeable and prompt with the site visit and quotes. The crews worked very well together (I believe there was an apprentice or two on site as well). They ensured the least amount of intrusion/ damage / exploratory damage was done while adding fixtures and pot lights to my 60s bungalow. They cleaned up far better than any other contractor I've had in my house. And the dialogue between them was very professional, light hearted and instructional (to the younger crew members) in nature as well (I'm a teacher and it's good to see knowledge in the trades being passed on). I'd definitely recommend Ring Electric to anyone again and we will be using them in the future for our electrical needs! UPDATE: A switch needed attention a few months later. Bryan came the next day and fixed it. Great follow-up service too!

Michel reshingled part of our roof a couple of years ago. It was time to reshingle the main part and once again we put our trust in Michel. He regularly sends photos of the progress to the homeowners and gives updates along the way. The quality, once again, is great and the site is left very clean at the end of every workday. If you're looking for a quality job done right and not rushed, I would highly recommend Michel!

Michel was prompt, honest and professional with his estimate. Since we were only getting one roof level replaced (an addition off the original house), many companies (including several highly rated ones on this site) did not even bother to take the time and give us a quote. Michel explained the options in a very straightforward manner. We were impressed with his patient, hand-nailed, quality over quantity outlook on projects. He contacted us and scheduled the job within our time frame as well. The work was completed on time, it was not rushed and the cleanup was well done. We are thoroughly impressed with his workmanship and would recommend his services to anyone. We will definitely be giving him a call in a couple years when the remaining part of the roof needs to be re-shingled!
