Company installed my laminate floors wrong and has to be redone by a professional. Transitions put between doorways which are not necessary and now are falling off in less than 6 months. Vent is covered. Floor boards go different directions. Old subfloor was not nailed down.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $1,500.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- call back the client to fix mistakes do the job right the first time
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- - ensure old subfloor is nailed down to prevent buckling in laminate - ensure laminate is installed all the same direction without transitions between doorways, its not needed - check to ensure vents are not covered upon completion of the job -always get the address of the contractor so you can report them to the better business bureau, without an address they will not open a claim
