I ordered a Move-In cleaning service for my house in Mississauga. And Monica from sunrise cleaning was very sweet to book my request over the phone, for a Saturday. I was very pleased with her service, I asked a lot of questions and her answers were very assuring. I gave her a detailed description about the home, including square footage (approx. 1200sqft.) and basement and no. of bathrooms, etc, etc. Monica told me that considering my home size and that I have only 1.5 bathrooms, the cleaning shouldn't take more than 6-7 hours, so she booked me an 8 hour appointment i.e. 4 hours with 2 cleaning personnel, and she assured me that would be more than sufficient. The low rating is for the Cleaning staff that arrived on my premises. Our appointment was for 7:30am, and the staff arrived on time, my wife had gone out for a bit and arrived back home at 7:40am, so the staff waited 10 minutes to begin. They went around the house and were very happy to note that the house had only one full bathroom to clean. But when they started to clean house, they were extremely inefficient and just took their own sweet time to clean, which would've been fine had they done a decent enough job. The quality of service was very poor. There were 2 ladies cleaning the house but only one vacuum, so the other one had to 'look' for something else to do. A few hours into the job, the ladies said, they would need more hours to finish cleaning hour home, "another hour or two". I was already paying them $315 for 8 hours of cleaning, and now they wanted more money to do the very job they weren't able to finish in the supposedly 'more than sufficient' allotted time. And to be clear, my house is a fairly new house, not a rickety house that would require extra deep scrubbing, or deal with old skeletons to throw out. The previous owners left the house in a very good condition. My wife argued that, that is not what our deal was, we were clearly told the job would finish in less than 8 hours. The ladies started talking in their own language (not English) and left us wondering and confused. They continued to work, and as soon as the 8 hours finished, there was a Van honking outside my house to pick up the cleaning staff. They kept asking to extend the hours for the job. It was almost as if it was all planned. We were now panicking that our hard earned money had been completely wasted. Since we were very unhappy with the service already, and didn't want to throw any more money on this quality of service, my wife just asked them to spend 30 minutes more each and finish whatever they were doing. When I arrived home, there were cobwebs in the basement, the glass shelves in the kitchen had water marks on them, none of the appliances were pulled out and cleaned, the stainless steel chimney also had marks on it, I can go on & on. Till today, my wife & I are cleaning the place. We really don't know what we paid them for. I see some people have given this company good reviews on their cleaning service. That is what got me to hire Sunrise Cleaning for my house in the first place. But from my experience, I now know for a fact that this company doesn't know anything about a deep clean, and this review is coming from a guy. My wife & I feel extremely unsatisfied and would never recommend Sunrise Cleaning to anybody. I would give them zero stars on this review if it were possible, the one star I gave this review is earned by Monica (lady on the phone) because I'd like to believe she was providing a genuine service at her end, but the cleaning staff were all about showing up and somehow fleecing you out of more $$$. Despicable service, WORST spent money EVER.

I have investigated your complain and found out that indeed you were miss-informed by Monika that the cleaning should not take longer than 8 hours in total. She should not make that statement without knowing what state your house is in or seeing your place before estimating the amount of time. She should have make it clear that the time she is giving you is just an estimate and that the appointment may take shorter or longer depending on the actual size of the house and the state it is in.
We offer 100% customer satisfaction and we work really hard to make sure that our clients are happy with our work. The ladies who worked in your house have an excellent track record and are often requested by clients because of the quality of work they provide. Unfortunately they were not able to clean your house to our standards because the time booked for your appointment was too short. I am really sorry for this misunderstanding. To avoid similar confusions in the future, I will make sure that all of our customer service representatives will be informing our clients who book similar appointments such as yours that the timing of the appointment is just an estimate and may need to be extended.Thank you for your time.
