I hired Maid4Condos quite a while ago. In the beginning the service was as it should be - cleaners showed up, worked efficiently and cleaned my condo. This changed. The company started sending only 1 cleaner. Service took way too long. For the past 3 cleanings the quality is poor: floors just mopped with water despite requests to use the materials provided. Shelves dusty, grease not cleaned on the stovetop. Additionally, despite pleading with them not to, the cleaner kept wiping the tv and computer leaving really stubborn smears. I finally left a written list of do and dont with both the administration and with the cleaner, and virtually nothing from the list is done. The leather wasnt wiped. The baseboards are dusty. I do not recommend this company at all.

My Samsung dishwasher had been malfunctioning for some time. I contacted Care Appliance Service through HomeStars on Sunday evening; Shay came to my house right on time at 10:00 today and fixed the problem. He advised what to to to prevent the problem reoccurring and showed what had caused the problem. He also did not try to sell me parts I didn't need Shay was quick, efficient and thorough. I recommend Care Appliance Service.

Dan was professional, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. The product is exceptional in value, very attractive, and the whole process was contracted and completed in a very timely fashion. I highly recommend Dan to anyone needing custom drawers.

I am surprised these people are still in business. I bought a Groupon for 3 cleanings in January. In trying to get someone - anyone in to honour this, they cancelled last minute 4 times, 'misunderstood' my email (I expect you at 9 a.m. ) to mean 'come at 5' twice (second time didn't even show up at 5!) and claimed on two different occasions that they couldn't find my building. Right. The one time they did show up (at 5. On the day we had agreed to 9) they took an hour to sweep the floors of a 900 ft apartment and clean 2 toilets. each of the cleaners took at least 3 phonecalls and several texts. One woman didn't know how to work a swiffer. Neither of them spoke English. Or French. Or Spanish. Or any other language I can muster. Though both of them were quick to point out that the $5 for the tax didn't include their tip. I was resigned to losing my money on this one because I gave up trying to get the second cleaning in, but Groupon very quickly refunded my money. I hadn't planned to write a review, until I was speaking with a friend today, who had been waiting at home for cleaners. Just for a joke, I asked 'was it On-Site?' Sure enough, yes. So this wasn't an incident isolated to me - this company has an odd business model.

We`ve had Toronto Maid Service for the better part of 18 months and we just cancelled. They`ve managed to break several rather items in the house (I mean really how do you break a toilet seat?)and manage to run through 2 rolls of papertowel per visit. That even though we've requested that they use the reusable materials that we provide. The last going off the cleaner (we've had a couple - one good, this one a nightmare)told us to buy a mop and a vacuum. There's a brand new Electrolux, and a complete set of Swiffer type mops. She also shows up at the crack of dawn, despite numerous requests to come at the time we agreed to with the service. The best of all, tho, is the fact that they've charged my VISA the full amound for the 12 weeks, 4 times in this month. And haven't returned a phonecall or email. Needless to say, we're trying to terminate service with themm, but it might mean cancelling my VISA and getting a new one. I DO NOT recommend Toronto Maids service.
