Muhammad is a true professional. He is honest, straight forward, exceptionally thorough, and knowledgeable in his craft. After finding a bedbug crawling on my living room couch, I had another company come in to assess the situation. After a cursory inspection, they concluded that I did have an infestation (despite no evidence except the one bug I had caught) and asked me to sign a contract for a heat treatment costing several thousand dollars. The inspection didn't quite sit well with me so I called in Muhammad upon a friends recommendation. Although his inspection is more expensive than what other companies advertise, he spent well over 3 hours scouring my entire house, after which he determined that I did not have an infestation and this was a one off bedbug that must have come in through a visitor or backpack etc. Muhammad saved me thousands of dollars in unneeded extermination treatment. Muhammad is also sensitive to the "panic" factor of thinking you have or actually have bedbugs, and is very thorough in explaining how bedbugs work. Understanding the life cycle and habits of bedbugs makes the situation more tolerable and manageable. He instills confidence that he will take care of the situation to its completion. The post visit experience is also exceptional - I think on his website the guarantee is "until the job is done" which I have no doubt is true. I had further questions several months after his visit and he promptly responded or called with answers to my questions or concerns. Should I ever have a bedbug problem again, I will contact Muhammad without hesitation and have no doubt that he will take care of it.

This is the second time we've worked with Paul and we couldn't be happier! We had Paul and his team remove our old basement stairs and rebuild and reinstall a wider staircase. Like our previous experience, we found Paul to be reliable, extremely knowledgable and proficient. His team was organized and respectful and left our house cleaner than when they arrived! As a homeowner in the middle of a renovation, it was such a relief to have a contractor like Paul come in... no worries and a job well done! Thanks Paul and crew!

We can't say enough good things about Kris and his team! We needed to re-route several radiant heating lines in the basement of our 100 year old house so we called Kris to come in to take a look. He was in the next day and promptly provided us with a detailed and reasonable quote. We found him to be very knowledgable and we appreciated that he took the time to explain what was involved and how he would go about doing the job. As a side note: we had a couple of other contractors in to quote for the same job, one gave us a ridiculously high quote with only the price (no details, or explanation of materials/ labour) and the other simply told us what we wanted was impossible (when in reality it was just harder and took more time). We had timelines to meet, and even though he was quite busy, Kris made sure our timelines were met. He showed up when he said he would and finished our project on time. We were so impressed with Kris' quality of work, we asked him to plumb our basement bathroom as well and we couldn't be happier with the result. As with all old houses, wrenches were thrown in the mix, but Kris took it all in stride and came up with many helpful suggestions and creative solutions. Kris and his team are a great crew - we found them to be very pleasant and respectful. We have a few more renovations coming up and we will definitely be calling Kris and his team to help! If anybody is looking for a knowledgable, honest plumber, look no further!

We needed to remove some poorly placed plumbing and change out a third of our old cast iron stack. Valentin was definitely up to the job! I was surprised how many plumbers didn't bother to respond to my inquiry - but Valentin responded the same day I contacted him; and he was was in to quote the next day. He was very thorough in his initial assessment and he was very mindful of our project and ideas. We were on a tight timeline to get the plumbing done as we had other contractors coming through, and Valentin - though very busy - found the time to get the job done on time. I found Valentin to be very professional, personable and efficient. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and finished the job on time and on budget. Watching him work, you can tell that his is very knowledgeable and a master at his trade. His price is very reasonable compared to other quotes we received, and his work was exceptional. I definitely have peace of mind knowing that the plumbing was done right! I will be calling Strong Plumbing for future projects and would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.

We had Paul come in to replace eight joists in our hundred year old house. He came by to look at our house the same day I contacted him through Homestars and had a quote ready the next day. Not only was the quote reasonable, Paul also made efforts to work around our schedule as he knew we were on a tight timeline. He coordinated with our structural engineer to iron out some details and make sure everybody was on the same page. Paul was knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. He came in to do the job when he said he would, cleaned up everyday before he left, finished on time, and did an exceptional job.
