I purchased a Groupon for Fresh Interiors which entitled me to 200 square feet of carpet cleaning (a $75 value) for $35. Before purchasing the deal, I called the company (on a Tuesday I believe) to see if it would be possible for them to come that week as I was having a party at my home that coming Saturday. Despite the volume of calls I am sure they were getting, Fresh Interiors assured me that yes, they could come on Thursday of that week. I then happily purchased the deal. The Thursday appointment came and went and no one showed up. I called that afternoon to see what had happened and had a lot of trouble getting someone on the line (no answer and full mailbox - undoubtedly because of the volume generated by the Groupon deal). When I finally got someone on the line on Thursday evening, I was told that they had made a mistake and booked the appointment for Thursday of the week following. I explained the urgency of having the cleaning done prior to Saturday and they offered to fit me in on Friday at 5pm. I was not optimistic about the service I was about to receive at this point but, having already purchased the Groupon, I agreed. The Groupon was for 200 square feet. I was hoping to have two area rugs plus the runners on two sets of stairs cleaned all within this rate. Friday at 5pm, Fresh Interiors showed up as promised and I explained which rugs I wanted cleaned. The representative who attended at my home (I believe it was the owner)was a very nice guy, great to deal with and was extremely apologetic about the mix-up. He offered to not only clean the rugs that I had mentioned but every area rug in my house - all within the Groupon rate. That's 7 area rugs and the runners on two sets of stairs! What's more - to reduce the inconvenience and impact on our evening, he offered to take the 7 area rugs away and return them the next morning, first thing, well in advance of our party. True to his word, he left on Friday evening and returned Saturday morning at about 9 am (in the middle of a snow storm, no less) with all 7 rugs clean and looking new! Now that's customer service! Fresh Interiors really went above and beyond to address the error that had been made! What a refreshing (and not often encountered) approach to customer service. Extremely satisfied with the experience, we attempted to tip the representative $40 for the exceptional service he had provided us but he wouldn't accept it!!! We were eventually able to force him to take $20. We will most definitely use Fresh Interiors the next time our carpets need some sprucing up. This company is a rare find and one worth bookmarking in your directory of home service providers!
