I found Dave's easy to deal with, accommodating and professional. When I wanted a quote I dealt with Stanley who was very helpful. Then when I decided on Dave's Stanley helped me set up an appointment that worked with our schedule. On October 8 Mark called to see if it would be convenient for him to start a bit earlier than planned and with our agreement did so. He was very pleasant and professional including implementing social distancing and wearing a mask as per public health guidelines. Mark's focus was cleaning the furnace, ducts and central vac system. He did an excellent job, showed us before and after photos and offered to answer any questions. Brendan arrived later to complete the preventive maintenance on our furnace and central air conditioner. He too was very pleasant and professional and did an excellent job. This week I received a follow-up e-mail from the company asking if there were any questions or concerns. All in all a very good experience. I will definitely request their services in future and recommend them to others.

I chose WaterMart because of the positive reviews here on HomeStars and was not disappointed. My conversations with Alison, Dave and Donna were positive and professional. In light of the pandemic pre-planning and estimates had to be done over the phone, by text or e-mail. Nonetheless I received valuable information to help me make an informed decision. I had to agree ahead of time to abide by the health and safety precautions in place related to Covid-19 which made me feel even more confident that WaterMart takes good care of employees and customers. George arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job of removing my old system and replacing it with a new WaterMart system including a new faucet. He changed the location of the under sink unit which is much better and affords me more space. He ensured everything was working well and provided both verbal and written instructions for me before he left. I was very pleased to hear that George will be the person who does ongoing yearly service and maintenance on my unit as he is both personable an professional. Related to the current pandemic situation George wore all the appropriate PPE and engaged in physical distancing throughout which resulted in me feeling entirely comfortable having him work in my home. It's a pleasure to once again have great tasting water, great water pressure and know that it's safer to drink. Thank you George and WaterMart!

Our 20+ year old Maytag dryer started making loud banging sounds when we turned it on. Fearing we would need a new dryer we decided to see if repair was possible. We chose Cascade because of their positive reviews on HomeStars. An appointment was made at OUR convenience with a specific time not a 4 or 6 hour window...which wins Cascade bonus points right from the start. They asked for make and model number on the phone and asked for a description of the problem...likely to try to have appropriate parts with them. Steve showed up within 5 minute of the appointed time and had diagnosed the problem replaced the part and given us advice to make the dryer run more effectively all within half an hour. We are very impressed and will gladly call them again if need be and refer them to friends who need great service. Thank you!

About two years ago we had a plumbing emergency in our kitchen. Because it was urgent I didn't do my usual level of research and called a company that I would later learn had numerous complaints and even charges outstanding. When they wanted to charge an arm and a leg for a diagnostic we wanted a second opinion. They left us in a mess and when my husband spoke with the owner he was rude and began swearing on the phone. Not what one would expect from a professional plumbing company. That's where Denys and his team at Drain Rescue came to the rescue. We called Drain Rescue for that second opinion. Denys was very professional, explained everything in lay terms and outlined what we thought was a fair price for a large job. The problem, it turned out was under the basement floor and required major repair. Denys and his team did an excellent job and we have had no issues since. He told us what to watch for in future which is extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend these professionals.

Our old storm door was in rough shape and not energy efficient so we wanted to replace it before the winter. We started researching doors and installers. We initially chose another company which turned into a nightmare. Purchasing the door was no problem but trying to get a final purchase price was virtually impossible. We finally gave up as they refused to finalize a price and asked for our money back. I found Door Way Inc. listed here on HomeStars with a 10 star rating. I read the reviews and those of other companies. I spoke with Brianna on the phone who assured me that I would not experience the same frustration with Door Way. We went to the showroom where Brianna was very helpful in helping us choose the best door for our home and our budget. We were pleased to find that we would not be charged extra for the colour we wanted unlike the other company where there is a charge for any colour but white. Brianna gave us an all in price on the spot including sending out someone to measure the door, the door and hardware, and installation. The firm price was less than the estimate we got at the other company. The time frame she promised us was right on. Eric did an excellent job of the installation and answered any questions we had. Both Brianna and Eric were very personable and professional. Best of all the door looks absolutely fantastic. Thank you Door Way Inc.
