I have been with protectron for almost 10 years, when it was anytime the alarm would go off more than a few seconds, there would be a call not long afterwards to confirm everything was ok. Ever since the merger with ADT, I have had several alarms go off, either forgetting to take the alarm off and opening a door. just last week, I left it rining for a few minutes to see if anything would happen. NADA... I finally turned it off cuz I got annoyed. no call...nothing...I have even had a communication error message on the panel for weeks. When I called to ask them about it a few days later, I told them that I had this message during a few days but now it was gone. I inquired why was I not called about a communication error with my alarm system. they simply told me that they were not aware of it until the customer calls it in...why am I paying you then? if I had been away and there would have been a problem I am certain they would not even call the police. I have received 0 calls for any alarm in the past few months and the system has gone off a few times.... And now, another price hike coming. That's it, I will be out of ADT/Protectron very soon. ADT is horrible, find someone else. the service with protectron was awesome, screw you ADT, I'm out.
