Alexandra was there to help us design our new home from top to bottom. We embarked on a full gut of our bungalow and added a second floor, while replacing and redesigning every feature at the same time. Alexandra met with us before the project started to get a sense of our style, and guided us through the use of photographs and mood boards to find design elements that we would love. She also designed our kitchen, both in terms of finishes and styles, but also in terms of which cabinets to put where, and where our appliances would go. She advised on which types of appliances we would want, and we are extremely happy with the result. In addition to this, Alexandra helped us choose the finishes for 4 bathrooms, each of which has a unique character but ties in with the design of the rest of the house. She chose paint colours for the entire house, while being open to design input from our children (one of whom wanted a bright orange bedroom!). She was available by phone or text when we were shopping and would help us pick light fixtures and furniture that would work well with the rest of the features of our house. I would not hesitate to recommend Alexandra to any of my friends or family (and have already done so). Her work has been excellent, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
