I am cheap cheap cheap by nature, my 23 year old Lennex Pulse Furnace died on the coldest day, of the coldest week of the year (so far). I was quoted rediculously high prices by two other companies and found Mandarin Heating on Craigslist. He was as knowledgeable as the other two and seemed straight-up and competent. He introduced me to a brand "Goodman" whom I had never heard of. But they are the second largest manufacturer in the USA. Their very best high efficency, two stage, variable speed with DC motor was HALF, actually less than half of what Costco, Sears and two local Lennex dealers would have charged me. That included installation, a new humidifier and electronic Honeywell programable thermostat. Brian had the unit in stock and began the installation the very next day at 09:30 am He also arranged for an Energy Audit for my home which will entitle me to a $700.00 rebate from the Gov't. He worked hard and fast from 9:30 - 6:00 removing my old and installing the new. He left the work area immaculate and clean, took away all the garbage, fixed a leaky hose to my icemaker (no charge) programmed the Thermostat, used drop sheets EVERYWHERE so my floors and carpets were untouched. He answered every stupid question I had in full and offered suggestions along the way. He even submitted the paperwork for the rebates for me. My new furnace is 70,000 BTU heating a 2360 sq ft house for a NET PRICE installed after rebates of $1800.00 with a 10year parts and labour warranty (from the factory). I could not be more pleased. Really really pleased ! Compare Brian's price with Costco's ($5400) before rebates. For the same features on a "Brand name" furnace, with the same warranty and same DC motor high efficiency, yada yada yada furnace. Please call Brian First or LAST, you will save a fortune and get the service you expect. No surprises here.
