Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt With
UPDATE: Thank you to Halton Window and Door Company for pointing out that HomeStars requires proof of sale after a negative review has been challenged. Another thanks for pointing out that customers can have such a poor experience that they would rather remain anonymous than be repeatedly ignored. These are called "features" and it's what allows us, the customers, to provide honest reviews. We hired Halton Window & Door Company to replace our windows because of a few decent Google reviews and proximity to our home. The product they sell is good, but the service is absolutely horrendous. Anthony was knowledgeable and pleasurable to deal with during the quote and it all went downhill from there. Communication was poor and on several occasions they were outright dishonest. They repeatedly misled us regarding timelines, repairs and paperwork. There was no accountability. Everything was blamed on the manufacturer, even when it was clearly not the manufacturer's fault and easily avoidable. Attention to detail was non-existent. Installers repeatedly made the same mistakes, left garbage everywhere, and paperwork was always wrong. They ultimately refused to deal with issues as a result of their own improper installation and we were forced to use a different company to fix it. Everyone makes mistakes. Halton Windows & Door Company is incapable of dealing with them in a professional and timely manner.

I ask the readers to consider the validity of this review and to keep in mind that the reviewer remains anonymous. They claim that we failed in every area possible and that they had to hire another company to correct our work, however they are not interested in being re-imbursed. They are not seeking resolution in any way and in fact make resolution impossible as they wish to review anonymously. If the reviewer would be willing to identify themselves we would be very happy to attend their home with a homestars employee to see exactly what your claiming. We would welcome the results of that meeting being published on any public forum. If what your claiming is true I would expect that you have pictures, receipt for the work you claimed somebody else did, phone records, email records or anything else to validify what you claim here in this review. We will have documentation of everything. Let's end this nonesense of people being able to post whatever they want whether it's true or false. Let's use this as an example and show the public what's real and what's false.
We had quartz countertops installed in our kitchen by Vik and his team. The installers were great and Vik went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied. The job was done quickly and most importantly, the finished product looks absolutely fantastic.
