I hired this company for a basement renovation as they were recommended by someone I knew. I did not receive the same level of service by any means. While they were good at showing up daily in the beginning, towards the end of the drawn out job, few people showed to complete the project until finally they stopped coming altogether. Many things were left unfinished. The sink was never sealed to the counter, the faucet was not screwed down properly, the shower system I paid $1200 for was installed incorrectly. Handles were not screwed onto the cabinets. The work that was in fact completed was done in a sloppy manner, for example the tile work in the shower was not straight. To be fair, not all the work was sloppy. The drywalling was great. After many months, I grew tired of waiting for them to complete the small things that were left unfinished so I hired someone else to finish it. I gave the company two stars because some of the issues I pointed out to them were fixed promptly. However, I would never hire them for another project.

I purchased an Zucchetti showerhead over two years ago and it started to leak. I called Strong Plumbing and spoke to Valentin who told me to call the retailer whom I purchase the parts from for the necessary part as he would need it to fix the problem. The part was still under warranty, got the part, Valentin came in and the problem is all fixed. He was punctual and explained the problem to me and offered other plumbing advice I would certainly follow in the future. Very polite, nice gentleman, I would definitely recommend him to my friends. Update: The leak came back shortly after and Valentin came back and took a look. His conclusion is that the water in Toronto is too hard and there was nothing he could do. That does not seem like a good explanation as all my neighbours would have the same problem if that was the case. I happen to know my neighbours well and my problem is isolated to my home. To be fair, the gentleman came back to look at the problem but I'm not satisfied as the problem was not fixed and the explanation provided is not plausible. He might be a great plumber, but he didn't fix this problem so I can't recommend him to my friends.
