Tedot’s Finest was the only response I received from Homestars when I posted a request for quotes (I did already have 4 other quotes from other sources so this wasn’t really a problem). Ted responded quickly to ask questions and explain his quoting process. I began researching this company and found only a few reviews. All of the reviews were 9 or 10 out of 10 and that made me suspicious; nobody is THAT good. I continued talking with Ted over a couple of weeks, received his quote via text message and then requested he come out to the house to have a look. He arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. We talked about zones, what specific features I wanted and agreed on the price. Ted did all of his research using technology before he arrived so he wasted no time at all when laying out the zones, measuring the flow rate and pressure from the hose bib, etc.. I was flabbergasted when Ted said he and his team were going to be on site for the installation at 0530; I asked if he could make it 0600 instead. I was even more shocked when they actually arrived on time and began working!!! The team doing the install worked tirelessly, answered all of my questions, followed my requests about the various bits of landscaping that had to be moved and put back and, most importantly, respected my property. After a long day, they were finished. All trenches were filled back in, sod replaced, landscaping replaced and, aside from the raised bits of sod from the trenches, the place looked like it did when they first arrived. Follow up has been tremendous. Anytime I have sent Ted a message with a question, he has very quickly called me back to discuss over the phone. He and his crew are the top of the pile on all accounts. They are professional, knowledgeable, respectful of their client and property, respectful of their work. They all seem to enjoy the work they are doing, while still maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. I heartily recommend Tedot’s Finest for all of your sprinkler needs.

This is the third job I’ve hired Mitch for. The first one last summer went quite well so I hired him for a winter project inside. Mistakes and errors caused several delays then COVID hit and we’ve been on hold since. This latest job was supposed to be done within a couple of days and has taken a month so far. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and treat everyone fairly and with respect. However, when someone doesn’t answer messages or communicate changes and issues, I start to wonder. Mitch has just contacted me, after a week of ignoring me, to say that the pad will be done tomorrow , June 9th. We’ll see how this goes. I understand delays are unavoidable but I do not understand not communicating with clients on a regular basis about schedule and issues. ======= update ======= Pad was poured as Mitch promised so I’m adjusting my ratings a bit. These are challenging times we are in and sometimes it is very challenging to meet commitments. I would increase this rating much higher if communication was better.

I selected Mitchell and Co. Construction after obtaining quotes from 3 other contractors. Mitch was honest, polite and professional during our initial visit and throughout the entire job. His price was not the lowest of the estimates I obtained but was the most reasonable and only included the work that needed to be done. Mitch always had time to answer my questions, no many how many I had! The crew Mitch sent to do the demo and re-build worked quickly despite the intense heat and humidity. In particular, Kyle and his assistant, worked tirelessly to get the rebuild completed despite the intense heat, humidity and rain. Again, anytime I had a question, Kyle was more than happy to pause and provide me an answer; if he did not have the answer then he would find out for me. If Kyle was ever unsure about anything during the job, he would ask me without hesitation. I truly felt part of the entire project at every step of the way. I was kept well informed and updated on not only the progress to date but the target tasks for each phase of the project each day. Overall, I am very satisfied with Mitchell and Co. Construction and I heartily recommend them. I will not hesitate to contact Mitch again for my next project.

We chose Canadian Choice Windows and Doors after obtaining 3 other estimates. Their price, while not the lowest, offered the best value for the dollar. Our sales rep, Serge, was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. He was very thorough, ensuring accurate measurements and diagrams at every step of the process. As a result of this, there were no size issues with any of the windows or the sliding patio door. Our installation team led by Paul was excellent. They were very tidy, paid very close attention to detail and cleaned everything up before they left. They even went the extra step and filled in all the staple holes in the wood trim around each window making them paint ready! I highly recommend Serge, Paul and this company for your window and door replacement needs. I will be calling them again in the future for my main level windows.
