Our lawn was ugly. A disgusting mess of weeds, clover, yellowing and bare spots. We had used other companies and were always disappointed. We tried doing the fertilizing and weed control ourselves and our lawn looked almost the same at the end of summer. I was fed up and I called Lawn Savers (after seeing reviews on Homestars). I told them what I wanted and they quoted me a very reasonable price and did NOT try to oversell me before they had even seen my lawn. After their first visit, we started to notice a difference. They were upfront and honest about the weed problem and told us that it wouldn't be fixed overnight. I can tell you that now, at the end of summer, our lawn is amazing. It is lush, green, and almost weed free (we still have some spots to work on). My kids can run in the backyard without getting prickly weeds between their toes, we don't need to be embarrassed when guests come over. My husband the cynic is happy and even my dad..who is picky says it looks really good. Big points for not overselling, for giving sound advice, asking us to be patient with them and being reasonably priced. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone fed up with "the other guy".

We used Perfect Moves when we moved from an older house to a brand new house. We had to have our stuff put into storage for a month because our new house was not ready. The company is run by a father and son team and both of them were fantastic. Jeff came to our house and reviewed the contents to determine a very accurate quote. He was friendly and honest and made us feel comfortable right from the start. He assured us our house contents would be safe in storage and advised of items not to pack if at all possible. On the move out day, him and his crew showed up bright and early and were ready to work. They did a great job of taking things apart and packing them in the truck. They were very friendly to my 3 year old daughter and were even found whistling while they worked (seriously). I was 7 months pregnant at the time and they really took care of everything. The move was done in the time quoted and we were given receipts and everything was tagged. On our move in day, they again showed up bright and early with all of our stuff and moved it all in within the time quoted. They even helped my husband move some of the heavy stuff into place including the washer and dryer. Nothing was broken, dented, scratched or missing. The quote was very accurate, they were super friendly, they worked hard and I would highly recommend them. Our move could not have gone better!

We used Closet FX to redesign my walk in closet. They came and looked at my existing set up, reviewed what types of clothes I would be hanging, how much I had to store and then worked out a design that was exactly what I needed. He also helped me cut costs by showing me different price point options and what are the must-haves vs nice-to-haves. The work was done on time, in a professional manner and I love my new closet!

We were looking for flexible trim for around our hardwood stairs and for the trim that was used by the builder to complete some unfinished areas. I was not able to find what I needed at the big name chains so I stopped at Kar-los Building Supplies. They were great! I got exactly what I needed, the girl who helped me was friendly and helpful and it was a good price. I also appreciate that there was a woman who knew a lot about the companies supplies. It can be intimidating, as a woman, going into a building supply store and asking for what you need. They also helped me load the trim into my van. I will go back there and recommend them as a nice alternative to the big name stores.

The folks at Frontier flooring were great. We were installing our own hardwood and I wanted a specific wood from a brand name company. They were cheaper by almost $2.00/sq/ft than any other company. They were friendly, they kept me up to date on my order, they called me the day before to confirm the delivery and they delivered it right into my house. They answered all my questions and right from the time I went to the showroom, I felt comfortable with them. I would recommend them to anyone.
