We had been thinking of replacing our asphalt shingle roof for a few years. We finally saved up enough to get it done and were looking for companies with long life products, and good reputations. We eventually ended up going with Penfolds even though they weren't the cheapest as they had a superior product. Harvey, the technical and sales guy was super friendly and informative. Then began the frustration. -Aug 22 signed agreement. Was told mid Oct, but would try to get scheduled before end of Sept. -Aug 26, payment taken -Sept 2 contract and agreement set -Radio silence until I called Mariya Oct 7, and got a call back Oct 9. Scheduled for Oct 14/15 install and would call Oct 13 to confirm. Sunny all week. No call. -Left a voicemail Oct 14 for update, no response. -Spoke with the office secretary (Olivia who was very helpful) Oct 16, who forwarded an email to Mariya for response. Also no reply. -Contacted Harvey, Oct 20 who confirmed it was pushed to Oct 27 -Week of Oct 27, again no contact. Contacted Mariya again Oct 30 for update, confirmed install Nov 3 and would call Nov 2. Again no call on Nov 2. -File passed to Nikki who called immediately to confirm start on Nov 5, weather dependent. -Roof work started Nov 5, found quote was wrong as shiplap was found instead of plywood. Additional $6700+tax after roof already removed. At this point we didn’t have any choice with the shingles already torn off. -Roof work finished Nov. 10. Gutters still not installed. Scheduled more than 3 weeks later Dec 4. -Gutters and project completed Dec 4. Workmanship: Overall was good. The crews were friendly and respectful. A couple details that were not great, but didn't bother me too much. The chimney flashing was not done great, the flashing looked like it was just bashed on with a hammer. The other minor annoyance was some of the gutter elbows leak from pinholes in the bends. Communication: To be blunt, it was awful. I expected far more from a large company. Not hearing anything for weeks on end, and having to chase after them when they didn’t call as promised was frustrating. I would expect at a minimum contacting a customer if you are going to miss a promised date. Cleanliness: Nails galore after each work day, and more left after work ended. Luckily I power washed and swept the driveway after the bin was gone or I would certainly have nails in my tires. Minor stains to railing from shingles thrown down from roof. I’m still finding pieces of plastic wrap and bits of broken shingles around the yard. Timeliness and keeping to budget: Unimpressive. The install should have been in mid Oct, but due to the ball being dropped multiple times, ended up completing Dec 4. From signing to completion was 15 weeks! Thankfully we were proactive and not needing this done due to a failing roof. Project was overbudget by over $7k due to an incorrect assessment of shiplap needing plywood. Overall: Not recommended. While the workmanship and product is good, crews were good and a few of the staff tried to be helpful, for a large company they are sadly disorganized. This ended up being a far more frustrating experience than it needed to be.

We had a plugged drain and I wasn’t able to clear it by snaking or drains. Called Milani and they came the next day. Devon was our plumber and he was awesome. Friendly, courteous and knows his stuff. He even installed a new clean out plug for us, and checked for unrelated leaks. Throughout the day Milani dispatch updated me on when they would arrive. A level of service I’ve rarely encountered. Overall very happy! Update: Sept 27, 2018 Well... after getting my credit card statement, I found Milani had charged someone else's invoice on MY credit card, on top of my own invoice. Took some effort on my part (their front lines reception claims they never charged me for the other invoice), but their accounts receivables folks finally found the error and reimbursed my credit card. Wasted time and frustration with their customer service line drops them quite a few stars.

We had a sagging deck, torn leaking vinyl, rotting railings and a crooked sun room. All these issues came with the house we bought nearly a decade ago, but could not afford to repair at the time. We finally began the search to have repairs done this year in April. After getting a few quotes, and looking at reviews, Celsky was the one we chose. Not because they were the cheapest, but because of the level of detail from their quote. Everything was itemized, photos were taken, and it gave us confidence they knew what they were doing. Almost every online review we could find was glowingly positive. Price wise, they weren't the cheapest, but were certainly not the most expensive. The quoted price was more than fair for the large job. Communication wise, we couldn't ask for better. Ken would regularly send us photos of the work done, and any questions or concerns we had were always responded to quickly. As with any job, there were some minor hiccups, but all were very quickly taken care of without any issue. All the work done even comes with a warranty if any issues arise, for some extra peace of mind. We wholeheartedly would recommend Celsky for any deck work. Ken is an honest guy who does great deck work!

What a great review. We are so happy that you love your new deck! This was a fun job, we literally raised the roof! We just do decks because that's what we do best!

We had an old cedar fence get destroyed over the past winter. (tree fell and took out half the fence!) With summer coming soon, and a gaping hole facing a ravine, we began looking for contractors to replace the fence. Many of the big box stores only do wood fencing, but we were looking for something more durable and cost effective. That's when we found QS Fencing. We were impressed with the responsiveness of Sebastien, sometimes getting e-mail replies late into the evening. Their quotes were very fair and communicating with QS was painless. We decided on a chainlink fence (around 80-90ft long) since it was hidden in our back yard anyways. There was a minor hiccup, they had to delay the scheduled installation by a day, but when the next day came around, the installer was no where to be seen. A quick call to their office, and everything was back on track within an hour. Eddie and his crew did a great job. Quick, efficient, super friendly, and they cleaned up so well that it looked like they had never been there. Overall very impressed with QS, Sebastien, and Eddie. They definitely will be top on my list when I need another fence replacement!

We had a poorly designed sunroom roof. Made of glass and wood frame. From the day we moved in, it leaked and dripped. After the harsher than usual winter we had in 2016/2017 one of the glass panels shattered, so we looked for alternatives. AAA Aluminum was one of the 5 companies we reached out to. Only AAA and one other company bothered to respond. Bob Barnes was prompt, friendly and helpful suggesting replacements for us. We ended up choosing an insulated aluminum roof system, one that has a 25 year warranty and is strong enough to walk on. While not the cheapest, their prices are fair and they did an excellent job with the installation. Kyle and his crew were friendly and cleaned up after they were done. So far a few rains and no leaks, and the insulated aluminum roof has vastly improved the temperature and usability of our sunroom. Overall a great experience with AAA.
