Gavin and his team did an amazing job with transforming our unfinished basement to a functional and beautiful place! There has been nothing but compliments of the attention to details and great craftsmanship of our basement compared with other renos. During the renovation process, Gavin's team helped us a lot with the minor repairs/installations around the house; it would've been hard to get a contractor to just come by and fix these little things. Furthermore, Gavin made sure there was progress with the renovation every week (even with ongoing supply chain issues), which gave us an ease of mind that we were not being left hanging.

Igor and two other gentlemen helped us move from a three-storey townhome. They worked basically non-stop from 9AM to 9PM - stopping only for a short lunch break. Igor was very careful of using time and kept track of it from start to finish. They took care of my furniture. The crew wrapped a lot of my items and furniture to protect it from damage. I was very satisfied with their professionalism. If you have trouble disassembling some furniture or equipment (such as an elliptical), Igor is prepared with tools. Of course, it will make things run more smoothly if you can disassemble large items beforehand.

My home inspector identified that there was: - a bit of mould on my roof sheathing - some of my soffits were blocked up - indication that there was some vermin activity in the attic He recommended that I install some baffles installed and improve the insulation. I decided to get this done and came across EcoComfort in the Home Stars website. Wojtek quickly answered my inquiry that I entered in the company's website. He personally came over and identified EXACTLY the same things as the home inspector. Originally, I was going to just get an insulation top-up and have baffles installed, but he suggested that I should also remove the old fiberglass insulation and disinfect the attic. He didn't pressure me to do this and left this as an option, but I decided to have it done properly. The two gentlemen that completed the work were very courteous and professional. They prompted me to take a look at the attic each time they finished a stage of the work - I appreciate that a lot. Also, Tom (one of the workers) had pointed out to me that they inadvertently made some scratches on my door frame and he repainted it for me. I am glad that they proactively pointed this out and fixed it for me. Finally, they also repainted my attic hatch frame - the paint was a bit faded prior. Overall, I'm very impressed with their job. They definitely deserve this perfect 10 rating!
