It was a tough task for me to find people who can not just work on a roof, but remove a chimney stack first. I have received number of quotes ranging from $800 to $2,800. Most of the people I have contacted considered this job as too small and were not interested in at all. Finally I have got a contact of Andrew from Home Star Roofing. He promptly understood everything I needed. Next day he came and looked at the house, the chimney needed to be removed and at the surrounding area, we agreed on the price. His crew came at the morning and they already have matching shingles to patch the roof. The work was done in 2-3 hours, the remaining chimney was carefully filled with insulation materials and the roof was professionally fixed. There is no sings of presents of the former chimney on the roof, the result looks great! The crew made some photos showing different stages of the work in progress. Coming home later that day I was pleasantly surprised with extremely clean side walks and driveways and absence of old bricks. The guys have not left even a bit of a mess after turning down 2 meters chimney from two-story building. I'm pleased with Home Star Roofing guys work quality and quick response time.
