We recently purchased a new home and Max was able to provide a quote based on listing photos and floor plans. Once we took possession he had supplies being delivered the same day to make sure we met our timeline to get the ceilings done, prior to some other work we wanted to complete before moving in. The entire house (1990s) had popcorn ceilings with some staining in a few spots. One of Max's teams, Israel and crew, did an awesome job with the popcorn removal and flattening of the ceilings. After they were through, Manny the painter came in to finish it off with primer/paint. We are very happy with the look and the execution of the job.

We had MKZ fix the holes from our PolyB replacement job, and while they were at it we had them retexture our ceiling (level 5 flat) in several rooms in our house. I was first impressed that Max came to the house very quickly and provided a quote within a couple days. The quote was professionally laid out with a few options we had asked about. Max also made sure his guys were on time and notifying us when they were to arrive. What made me the most impressed with MKZ was Big Max, who came to do the mudding and taping, and flattening the ceiling. He has a high quality standard and would meticulous work toward the best outcome for us, without my having to review, which I really appreciated. Big Max is also such a nice person, who was a pleasure to have around, and thats saying a lot when youre living through retexturing your kitchen. He was at our place with a weekend in between and made sure he left us in a livable state over the weekend.

I'm not normally one to write reviews, but felt compelled after the service Jason provided. They came in and fixed a leak I had from my master bathroom. He came out the same day I called and offered a very reasonable rate for the repair. They asked for our vacuum and cleaned up very well after everything. They even took care to open the drywall carefully to make subsequent wall repair easier. Also, weeks later I needed to follow-up with him for a note to complete an insurance claim and he responded to me within hours of an email and had a description for me in less then 24hrs to send on to my insurance adjustor. I've had a few other contractors including other plumbers do some work for me and I think Jason and 'A better way plumbing' stand out as excellent both in workmanship and customer service.
