After a recent heavy rainfall, we found the carpet in our basement completely drenched. We thought we had a crack in the foundation and it was going to be an expensive repair. We contacted Foundation Works and Joel came to our house to assess the situation. Joel provided a thorough explanation of the problem and went on to describe how the original window well was poorly installed and that mud had been seeping into the well over the years causing it to not drain properly. What we thought was going to be a major repair ended up being a simple fix. We really appreciated Joel’s honesty. Joel provided us with a very detailed estimate at a very reasonable price. Joel’s team came to fix our window well in a timely manner. The Foundation Works’ team were very professional and courteous. The quality of workmanship exceeded our expectations. I returned home from work and could not even tell that anyone had been there that day - other than the fact that we have a window well that drains properly now!
