CB Tree saved my fence (and probably my neighbours house)
A few weeks ago I was hanging out on the bench in front of our house at around midnight, when a storm started brewing. Winds picked up quickly and I started to see some lightning in the distance, so I though it was time to head inside. Just as I was going in, my wife came upstairs asking why i was making so much noise at midnight. I told her she was imagining things and to back to sleep. She was adamant that she heard a loud crash and beer bottles dropping, so I took her to the back to prove that there was nothing wrong. It started raining pretty hard so I took her to the back window to prove that everything was fine, and she was imagining things. It was much darker than usual and we couldn't really see anything from the window. I went to the screen door to get a better look and I figured out pretty quickly why we couldn't see outside. A huge branch (like 30' huge) had snapped from our walnut tree and the leaves were pressed up against the window that we were trying to look out from lol. We literally started laughing at the site, as that was the 3rd tree that had fallen in our backyard since we bought the house 7 months ago. We're pro's at handling this type of issue now, so it wasn't a big deal. 2 days later, the branch above the one that fell also fell. oh oh. The tree was still standing straight up though, so no big deal. The day after, I was out back and noticed that the tree was starting to split (from the point of the second fallen branch), and it was starting to lean towards the back fence - and my neighbours house. I better call someone ASAP. My neighbour gave me Craig's (from CB Tree) number so I gave him a call. A lady answered the phone and I explained what was happening and that I really needed to get someone to my house ASAP before my tree falls onto my neighbours roof. In my professional opinion (I did cut up 2 tree's on my own), I gave it 1 or 2 more windy days at most before the tree snapped Craig called me back and said he would stop by that night after finishing an emergency call in Oshawa. A few hours later, Craig and crew showed up (I swear I heard superman music in the background). He took a look and said he couldn't take the tree down that night because the crew was exhausted from a long days work, but he went up and tied a few superknots to help secure the top of the tree from falling, until he could fit me into his schedule. Being that it was an emergency, he prioritized my work and showed up 2 days later. Game day. When Craig and the boys came on the Thursday, I took half a day off of work to watch the walnut tree come down (it still hurts that I had to take down this beautiful tree - but he saved me the 15' trunk, which will turn into a live edge dining table). It was amazing to watch Craig and his crew do their thing. It took the whole afternoon for the tree to come down, but they managed to get the job done without any issues (except 1 tomato plant that got squished lol). He was even nice enough after 5 hours in the tree, to fulfill a few special requests for some thin biscuits off the trunk which I can use to make some cutting boards! I couldn't be happier with the service Craig and his crew provided and I'll be having him come back after the summer to take down another tree that's starting to push my garage over. If you're looking for a tree specialist, give Craig from CB Tree a call. I'm confident that you won't be disappointed.

Wow, what a review. Thanks. We should have the go ahead from the city soon, to remove the tree that is pushing over the garage. See you soon, all the best, Craig.
