Perfectionists in Etobicoke

Edward was very patient when we had to rebook our appointment several times because of delivery problems and came to complete our vent installation on very short notice. He was very pleasant to deal with and completed the work to our satisfaction.

Sal came on a Saturday afternoon to assess the problem with the snapped cable and returned as promised on Monday to make necessary repairs. This was an old garage door and it was difficult to find parts to make repairs. We were very happy with the service provided. Prompt, efficient and completed at the price quoted.

We were pleased with the first team of workers John sent to complete painting and plastering in our older home and agreed to do more work in another area based on how happy we were with their work. We were less pleased with work done in our study and powder room. We only learned that John would send a different team (which turned out to be only one person) on the day the work was started. We told John in advance that some work had to be done to repair a leaky gasket in the toilet but he assured us that the person doing the painting and wallpapering would fix the toilet at the same time. The worker did most of the painting required but only touched up the trim in the study. He had trouble with the wallpaper and could not make the necessary repairs to the gasket. We informed John that the toilet was still leaking and he assured us he would send someone in the next few days to make repairs. Six months later the toilet is still leaking and repeated calls and messages to the company have been ignored. We waited patiently over the long harsh winter to hear from John and were sorry that we paid for everything in full and believed his assurances that he would send someone to resolve this issue. Based on this lack of follow up and issues with the second worker who was rushed by John to complete work he was obviously not qualified to do (plumbing), we cannot give this company a high score for communication, timeliness and quality of work.

Our new kitchen appliances were delivered by Faulkner's on time and in excellent condition. Although the fridge was a tight fit, Jeff and Wayne worked very hard and took the time to make sure that there was no damage to our doors and hardwood floors. Fred made sure that we were happy with our appliance choices and the installation of our dishwasher. A job well done!
