I do not recommend this company to anyone. We purchased interlocking bricks from them to build a porch and were told that we could return any of the unused bricks. For this reason, we bought more than we thought we needed just in case. When we went to return them, we were told we couldn't and that they have a strict no return policy. We had two pallets of brick to return so we had rented a truck to drive them back to Patene. Patene told us we could leave them there and they would take them, but we wouldn't be reimbursed. We just left them there. After a few phone calls to who I believe was the owner they finally agreed to give us some money back. We had two full skids of brick, totally unused and still wrapped. The headache that this company gave us was unbelievable. In addition to that, the saw that we rented from them was broken before we even used it. It wouldn't turn on and they wanted to charge us for it. They were also more expensive than other people in the area. Unfortunately for us we didn't do our homework before going to them.

We got our driveway widened and re-paved. The job itself went great. They got there at around 4pm and left at about 630pm, we couldn't believe how quick it was. They did have a crew of about 5 guys though. The only negative to them was they never called to confirm what time they were coming. We called the day before and asked what time they would be at our place and they said they couldn't even guarantee they would be there on the scheduled date because they book in next day jobs at 4pm, and to call back then. So we did and no one answered. My husband took the day off work to be there, and we had been calling them constantly the day of because we had no idea if they were even coming. They eventually showed up at 4pm with no warning. By that point we thought that they weren't even going to show up that day. Had they given us even a rough time (or even confirmed that they would actually be there on the scheduled date) I would have rated them a 10/10. The work and crew was great, we just wish communication could have been better. It is very difficult to get a hold of someone in the office.
