The cooling section of our refrigerator suddenly stopped working. I called Energytech that afternoon and they were able to send someone the next morning. The technician (Mr. Khan) diagnosed the problem fairly quickly (faulty circuit board) and was able to replace it fairly easily. We had to leave the refrigerator off for 24 hours to allow for defrosting but it worked fine once it was switched back on. Mr. Khan was friendly and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to use his company again.

After 22 years in our house, Maria and I decided it needed a new porch, and our contractor, Dave Krafchik of Custom Stonescapes, suggested we contact Dufferin Iron & Railings to install the outdoor railing. We often have different ideas on design but when we visited Dufferin's showroom, we were able to reach agreement very quickly thanks to Oliver's facilitation skills. He clearly knew the topic inside out and the fact that we both had complete confidence in his abilities was instrumental in reaching a decision. The installation went smoothly and we now have fabulous railings to complement a fabulous porch. Great job, guys.

We have an old 1930’s North Toronto house and wanted to do a total redesign of our galley style kitchen. There wasn’t much space to work with and there were four openings into the kitchen and one window. We asked Nanette Snel of Nanique Designs to help us out. Nanette’s primary role consisted of developing a plan for our review, helping us to select materials, and recommending contractors both for general demolition work, the building of kitchen cupboards and the installation of the various materials. Nanette felt we should build new kitchen cupboards and recommended City Kitchens. She coordinated our visits to them to develop a floor plan and helped us make decisions on cupboard and door design, accessories, and the use of glass windows. Nanette convinced us that the best choice from a practicality and durability standpoint was a vinyl floor which looked like ceramic tile. She then helped us pick a pattern which meshed with the white cupboards, the terracotta and the hardwood floor in the dining room and hallway. Nanette helped us considerably with overall project planning. We established a critical path with some flex built in and Nanette made strategic calls from time to time to ensure the work was done when it was supposed to be. Our kitchen was actually ready way ahead of schedule, unusual in this day and age. Nanette was able to develop a good plan for us to follow, helped us to select the right materials, and applied the right mixture of flexibi
