We needed new window coverings for our home and after reviewing three quotes from some top retailers, we selected A Divine Design primarily due to Marco's experience and professionalism. We told Marco what we were looking for, and he provided not only the answers, but suggestions we never even considered. Marco was very enthusiastic about his work, and you won’t meet anyone who knows more about the business! With his guidance, we decided on styles and colours. We did custom wood shutters on some windows, and Hunter Douglas Pirouttes blinds on the rest - including a custom arch in the master bedroom. His product knowledge and attention to detail was by far the best of the companies we quoted with. Since his products are equal or even better in some cases, his price was very competitive. He will give you the best price with absolute quality and craftsmanship. He gave us all the time we needed to make our choices, and he double measured each window. No question or concern was too small. The blinds were delivered and installed right on time. His master installer Tony was an expert, and each covering was perfectly installed. There were no gaps or un-level edges. Tony fine-tuned and tested each covering, and cleaned up afterwards. When he finished, he took us on a walk through of each window one by one. Marco’s custom made wooden shutters look and operate amazingly, and are completely resistant to fading, peeling and UV rays. We could not have been happier with the results or the final price, and we recommend A Divine Design to everyone looking to upgrade their window coverings. They perfectly complement each room, and the whole house look like it was professionally staged. Our overall experience could not have been better.

Our small front yard was in need of a makeover. The job itself was relatively small (two days work) but Damon generously worked us into his busy schedule. When Damon arrived for the quote, he provided several good ideas as to how we could maximize the space and give the front some curb appeal at a very competitive price. To better contain the soil bed above the tree, they built a small retaining wall complete with a decorative corner stone for effect. And because the tree had shallow roots, it had to be handled carefully. With the added soil depth now contained within the walls, we are now able to add plants which previously wouldn’t grow. They poured a new concrete pedestal and moved the lamppost to a more ideal location. Previously it blocked view of our brand new front door. They repositioned our existing boxwoods under the front window and planted more along the border of the property. New soil and sod was laid next to the tree and on our front patch. They removed the unproductive old soil and clay, and the new extra layer of topsoil will ensure our lawn thrives come spring. Decorative grasses were planted on the front patch to hide the unsightly green hydro box. The crew arrived on time, worked diligently and never left a mess. They were also careful not to damage our newish driveway and steps. All of our neighbours were impressed with the results and tell us that it’s basically a whole new front yard. We couldn’t be happier. The front yard now looks as good as our new driveway, steps, front door and garage door!

We recently had our front porch and driveway/walkway done in exposed aggregate concrete complete with matching parging amd decorative facefront on the steps. We had researched multiple companies before selecting Pro Concrete based on their stellar reputation. A neighbour who dealt with them before only had good things to say. We received a personal home visit from their designer who helped us plan our ideal project. Each part of the job was handled by a highly trained and specialized crew. There was the excavation crew, forming crew, pouring crew, cutting crew and stamping crew. These guys know their jobs, and are precise and highly organized. Each crew is professional, and they leave the job site neat and tidy. This synchronized teamwork left a "wow" factor that we and our neighbours were impressed by. The work progressed methodically and quickly, and they were always mindful of the changing weather. The driveway was professionally graded and all work was done to code. The decorative groove that runs the length of both sides of the driveway, along with the high gloss sealant, completed the look. They went above and beyond the stated project. The crew doing the parging noticed a small section on the far side of the garage that wasn’t marked to be finished, so he took care of it on his own in order to “complete the look.” And during the concrete pours, a crew member straddled the wall or the porch to ensure everything was level or to lay down a tarp. No detail was overlooked. Silvio came by on a couple of occasions to check up on everything and to ensure we were completely satisfied. We were very impressed with the results. From the street, it’s as if we have a whole new front yard. Pro-Concrete significantly improved the look of our curb appeal. All of our neighbours remarked how brilliant it now looks and cannot believe the change. The before and after is truly stunning. Silvio and his team know their business. Well worth the investment. Kim Parise of J.J. Mirror and Closets is a consumate professional and a great designer. She helped me design my walk-in closet installation and maximize the space. The installers, Troy and his partner arrived on time and were very courteous and clean. I also used Kim to help design our mirror work for the dining room area and great room. Jason Firth of JK Painting is an excellent painter. He is a consumate professional. courteous, clean and very precise with his work. He is also very quiet and arrives on time for the job! He was a referral from our local Benjamin Moore painting supply dealer and we are extremely pleased with the results. The original order was to do a very large wall, ceiling, hallway and high skylight. These are at awkard heights and angles (stairs). There are many painting services and based on the research we did it can get overwhelming. We looked at 5 different vendors before finally choosing Jason - primarily because he did not make a fuss over the high skylight! After seeing him perform his work I also asked if he could quickly accomodate the downstairs hallway (again more difficult angles). He was more than happy to oblige - without fuss or fanfare. He is meticulous with edging (even around light fixtures, switches and potlights) and sands the wall if there are uneven surfaces! He does not pressure you to do more than what you are looking for but will accommodate any last minuite changes. As a recent homeowner, we were devasted to find out our furnance stopped working during the recent cold-spell. We were referred to Richard at CoreTemp Heating and Air and he was truly a gift from the Furnace Repair Gods above. In our desperate need, Richard diagnosed the problem (the blower motor no longer worked and needed a replacement). The furnace itself was in an awkard position but Richard and his able assistance worked at it to ensure the motor was installed as appropriately as possible. Richard was professional, honest, and the nicest repair person I have ever met. Thank You CORETEMP Heating and Air for all you did for us!
