George did He was fantastic job replacing the carpet on our stairs. He is a true professional and was kind and courteous throughout the whole process. He removed our previous carpet and disposed of it for us and left our home clean after completing the job. I would highly recommend George and Classic Carpet for your next carpeting project.

Bill and his contractors did a great job refinishing our oak hardwood floors with a new fresh stain colour and top coat. We've been getting lots of compliments from family and friends! We were on a very tight deadline with a baby on the way and Bill stepped up to complete a quote and site visit within 24 hours and the job was done a week later- which was much appreciated! My only comment would be that there was some discoloration that showed through upon completion of the job due to the way the floors were previously treated/sealed. As I'm not an expert on these things I wasn't sure the cause and had to point it out to Bill to get an answer about the cause of the discolouration. Ideally his communication would have been a bit better by addressing this issue with me before I had to bring it up with him. If I was more particular about getting an even finish throughout this would have been a bigger issue but luckily for him the classic grey stain that we chose doesn't need a consistent finish to look good.

Mark and Farhad recently replaced my hot water tank after multiple contractors had fallen through or failed to call me back. I had a rental unit that vents out to the roof of a 2 story building with a flat tar roof. Mark provided a competitive quote to remove and replace the unit with a new purchased 40 gallon power vented tank, but had originally underestimated the amount of work so the final price was a few hundred dollars higher than the original quote. That being said, It was still well worth the price and Mark was always very honest and reasonable. For the AC repair, I was hoping to repair it versus a replacement of the older unit. Mark communicated to me that a replacement would be a better choice to prevent continuous repairs. Mark wound up repairing the unit, which now works brilliantly but there was a small communication issue between him ,my partner and I due to the way I managed the project while I was at work and my partner at home. In the end it worked out and the job was completed in a professional and timely manner and as long as the project is clearly specified by the homeowner, Mark will do a great job. I will definitely work with Mark and House depot again.

The project scope included a brand new steel stringer staircase with a railing that extends across the length of my mezzanine. I got quotes from other contractors but it was clear upon meeting Asad for the first time that he was a true professional who puts great care into his craft. From day one he was detailed and clear in the way he communicated the project plan to me. He suggested modifications to the design to improve the layout and recommended a unique brushed steel finished to compliment the design and integrity of the space. Him and his partner Maryam were always polite and patient with me and he outlined the scope of the project in full detail. The end product was more beautiful than I could imagine, and constructed 100% to his drawing specifications so there were no surprises. Asad was able to provide a referral for another contractor to do some other work for me (built in wall unit as shown in photos) and has a good network of design professionals. The project came in on budget and on time. I highly recommend Architectural Iron Works. I am in love with my new stairs and railing and am happy to have hired Asad. I will definitely hire him again in the future.

Darren did a fantastic job of creating custom closet solutions for my condo. I asked for a very sturdy material to handle my large clothing collection and he built shelves from scratch that are indestructible- much better than anything you can purchase pre-built. He cut the shelves in his studio, then installed them very quickly in less than 2 hours. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

Adrian did a great job installing my new washroom vanity on time and on budget. I would hire him again and recommend him to friends and family in the future.
