Our 50 year old pressure tank started leaking and needed to be replaced. It was difficult to find anyone doing this type of work, never mind one that would call back. We found D & S, left a message and Derek called back promptly. We had an estimate within the hour. They came out within a few days and did a great job installing a new tank. We were impressed by their responsiveness and follow up, and by their professional and skilled work. Price was fair and matched the estimate exactly. We will definitely use them for any well related work and highly recommend them.

We are more than pleased with every aspect of our hot water tank replacement. And surprised at the fabulous, efficient, responsive customer service. Our hot water tank died on a Friday before a long weekend. Called Climax around 1 pm, got to speak to a person directly rather than voicemail. The representative dispatched the call to Mohammad (Moe) the technician who called back within 30 mins and was here within the hour. Confimed our suspicion that we needed a new tank (ours was 10 yrs old and corroded within). Came back 11 am the next day, had the old tank out and new one in in about 1 hour. Wow. Great communication – he even texted ahead of time to say he was running a little late but had the tank in the truck. We would not hesitate to use these guys in future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for work in this field. I was impressed by Mamuka's fabulous customer service, and of course his work. Our deck stairs and landing were rotted and unusable. He replaced all the rotted parts and reinforced the whole structure making them safe and looking like new. From the start Mamuka has been extremely responsive, great communication and attentiveness. He started the project a little ahead of schedule (unheard of these days!), even contacted me that morning to advise he was held up at the building store picking up materials and would be a bit late (also unheard of these days). He completed the job quickly. Did a great cleanup job as well. I would give Mamuka more than 5 stars if I could. I am relieved to have someone I can count on for other jobs as they arise around our house. Highly recommended!

Serge was professional from start to finish. He explained the products, and very importantly provided dates for next steps - maybe not as soon as I wanted but realistic. And he met every one of them. He quoted prices including HST, giving full price to me, which other vendors typically do not because they want to appear cheaper. We had him replace two old aluminum patio sliders and a kitchen window with nice new vinyl efficient windows. His team did a great job. They were very courteous, did a great install job and complete cleanup. We are thrilled and will look no further for future window/door replacements. Oh and he went an added mile by repairing a small leak in our garage roof, no charge! This was a concern for us, it was difficult to get roofers to respond for a small job. Serge helped us out and it was TRULY appreciated!

Ali and his team did an outstanding job and we couldn't be happier. We put hardwood in our bedroom, matched to the existing hardwood on the main floor, replaced the main floor baseboards and fixed the stair nosings that previous hardwood installers had 'messed up'. From the start Ali was responsive and accommodating, coming to the house to view the job, and brought samples to compare against the existing floor. His estimate was competitive - not the cheapest not the highest. We were not deal shopping, but wanted a quality job at a reasonable price. Once we agreed on the estimate he came out again to do final measurements, and his brother made a further visit to show us the stain they would put on the baseboards, against the original floor. Ali was able to accommodate us between big jobs so he could start within 2 weeks. The team arrived as scheduled, and spent the first half day prepping. This was maybe longer than expected for one room but they took extra care to prepare properly and screwed down all sections of the subfloor to eliminate any squeaks. They also carefully removed the existing baseboards so they could be reused in another room downstairs that had none (oh and they did that for us too, no extra cost). We had removed the small items from the room but left the bed and dressers - the team looked after moving those for us. They were able to do the cutting outside which eliminated a lot of dust/mess inside. We were impressed with the quality of the job, noteably the fitting around our built-in shelves and baseboard heaters, even inside the closets. The job on the main floor baseboards and stair nosings was excellent, and now match the floors beautifully. They even noticed and repaired a warped board on one of my doorways, totally unrelated to the floor work. They left the house clean and beautiful, took out all the old carpet and baseboards and cleaned all evidence of the sawing/flooring work. All of them were courteous, friendly and skilled. I will definitely go directly to Canwood for future flooring work, without any shopping around. In summary the things that were important to us were responsiveness, home visit/estimate, quality work, willingness to move furniture so we didn't have to, clean up, quality product, handling extra requests that came up. Canwood excelled in all of these.
