I moved into a new home that had Control4 roughed in, however, the previous owners had taken the majority of the equipment. I met with 3 companies including the company that previously serviced the home. I ultimately selected Darryl and his team as i found him to be open and honest and easy to talk to. The work was done very well and Darryl was quick to resolve any issues along the way. I am planning on building a custom home in the near future and will not look any further than Darryl and ABCO to assist me with my home automation / automation needs.

I recently moved into a house and noticed a small drip from a window. After doing some water testing , i was under the impression the leak was coming from the roof. I put in a Homestars request and Tom responded very quickly, within 20 minutes. I called Tom and he was at my place withing 20 minutes and up on the roof. Ultimately, Tom concluded the roof was not the source of the leak, but took some pictures of other issues i should address at some point with the eves and snow buildup. He took his time and truly helped me out for a nominal cost. Other quotes wanted 3X more than i paid Tom just to show up. I have very high expectations of service given the business i am in and can truly say Tom exceeded all expectations. His professionalism was incredible.

I hired Carefree to deliver a solid cherry dining set to my buyer in Oakville. The gents showed up 30mins early and kindly asked if they could start, which was perfect with me. They were quick and professional, protecting the items nicely in the truck. I paid them and gave them a tip, which they seemed to appreciate. The buyer emailed me shortly after they arrived with her dining set to share with me that I selected a great moving company and everything arrived in great condition and was moved into her dining room quickly and carefully. Carefree is coming to my house again tomorrow to help me with my house move. I have a lot more comfort that it will be the same great experience! I will share that experience as well.

Purchased Garaga insulated garage doors through one of their dealers. The first set of doors that were installed had 2 golf ball sized dents. Someone came back to take pics, and new panels were sent. The replacement panels had ripples through the metal that were quite obvious. Again, they sent them back. Third time, ripples again, but even worse and on the outside. I had to be home a total of 6 times to deal with the weak quality that plagues Garaga. I try and buy Canadian made product, however, this company is an embarrassment to the great country of Canada. In the end, I was given a $200 credit to live with the imperfections…. an insulting gesture. My next steps are to have the company remove everything and I will arrange a new company to come in and do the job properly using a different manufacturer. Garaga clearly doesn't value quality, nor wasting a customer's time.
