We determined that my hot water tank started to leak around 5 PM on Saturday afternoon. Laith came by around 8 oclock on a Saturday night to diagnose the problem, arrange to find a replacement tank and had it reinstall a few business days later. Very responsive.

They installed an asphalt driveway with an incorrect grade resulting in water flowing into my garage vs away. They promised numerous times last years to return and fix this but nothing was done. This year, I spoke to the owner, Joe, who refused to fix the problem unless I paid them the holdback money. Unprofessional and dishonourable. After I added this review to homestars, West York Paving contacted homestars and told them that I was never their customer. Fortunately, I had written proof of my payments to them and their signed agreement to return and correct their faulty job. Again, dishonourable and dishonest.

The contractor was often difficult to deal with. He is refusing to repair a washroom vanity that collapsed due to incorrect installations and a fence that was installed crooked. I have expensive shower faucets that have been installed crooked and several thousand dollars of extra porcelain tiles that I was tiled were needed but were not. Instead of 5 to 10% extra tiles, I ended up with 25 to 30% extra. This alone costs me several thousand extra due to his inability to determine the proper tile requirements. I would not recommend or use Luca as a general contractor again
