I thought the hot water tank looked a little dodgy when I bought the house, but it wasn't until I smelled a 'electric burning odour' that I got serious about replacing the tank. Removal of the electrical cover revealed the insulation burned off the wires leading to the electric heating element and the scorched insulation. A new tank was called for. DS Plumbing arrived on time, assessed the problem, proposed a larger tank that was proportional to our water needs (no more cold showers) and ordered a replacement.
An installation time was booked. When Craig was going to be 45 minutes late, Mary called and updated me on the revised starting time. Craig did a removal and replacement very professionally and efficiently (despite the homeowner's pestering plumbing questions).
On Craig's advice I signed up for PAWS program and knocked over $400 of the contract price.
The service warranty is unprecedented, and should be copied by other home service professionals (smoking, swearing, no shoes coverings, etc. and the service is free). Wow!
As a pet owner, the contribution to the Humane Society was 'icing on the cake'.
In Short: Very Satisfied. Will Recommend to family and friends. Will use DS again.
p.s. While Craig was great, I must say that dealing with Mary was exceptional. She took my problem description with professional flair, arranged the appointments, updated me on appointment time changes and dealt with my Air Miles claim. Every service business should have a Mary. :-)
