I would recommend HandyForce. Last winter, a sidewalk snowplow damaged our front stairs and railing. The plowing company agreed to cover the costs of the repair and suggested we provide a few quotes to them, from which they would select the most cost effective one. We reached out to several companies and were surprised at the wide ranging quotes we received. Paul from HandyForce provided a quote that was most attractive to the snowplow company, and from my reviews of HandyForce, they seemed like a good choice (and local!). Paul was very responsive to my questions, and gave honest professional opinions on what needed to be repaired/replaced. He was also VERY patient, as we waited literally weeks (maybe more like months?) for his very reasonable quote to be authorized by the snowplow company. When we finally got the green light to proceed, Paul introduced us to his friendly colleague Justin, who would oversee the work. On the day the work was done, Gus from the HandyForce crew did a thorough repair job, taking his time to ensure build quality was good and solid. Gus also cleaned up the job site very well, leaving it neat and tidy. Thanks HandyForce for all your help (and patience), I would recommend you to friends and family in the East York neighbourhood for any of their handyman needs.

Nice job done by Henry and associate. Henry was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. He was able to schedule our patio door installation before the cold weather really set in, and installed the door very quickly and efficiently. New door looks great, looking forward to working with Henry for future installations at our house.

During a strong evening windstorm, we heard some shingles literally ripping off the roof. We called Roof Repairs and they were able to send out someone the next day to inspect our roof and replace the missing shingles. Fast, efficient, friendly service, thank you.

We had a very old and dented flashing covering the top portion of a foundation wall which, in the past, had leaked water into the basement during heavy rains. We had a recommendation from another (non-roofing) contractor to call Brad about replacing this old flashing. We spoke to Kim at RoofRepair.ca, who was very friendly and courteous and arranged for Brad to take a look. Brad arrived right on schedule on the meeting day, and was very approachable, friendly, and very knowledgeable (and had a good touch of humour). While it was not a huge job, it would involve some tricky metal work based on where the flashing would be installed. He took the time to examine the situation closely, and to plan out the possible solutions, and explained them carefully to us. He also gave us a free roof check while he was on location, and did not try to sell us anything extra. He said he would return in a couple days to get the flashing work done. Sure enough, when I got home from work the other day, the flashing job was done, and looked very neat, tidy, and professional. I would recommend Brad and RoofRepair.ca to anyone looking for honest, professional, roof and flashing repairs.

I recently had A&A Masonry perform waterproofing work along one entire side of my house, and found the team (led by Alex) to be very professional, courteous, efficient, and hard working. Upon arrival and a quick introduction, they went straight to work, digging alongside the house down to the bottom of the foundation. Over the course of the following days, they provided us with regular updates on their progress, and took the time to explain their procedures of waterproofing. The team also installed a sump pump neatly in the basement, with very nice clean-up there as well. Getting the waterproofing done was the prime focus, and Alex and his team worked through the Easter long weekend to ensure that all work was done in time. After finishing, they cleaned up the driveway very well, and even dropped by a few weeks later to top up the gravel on the driveway to help level the area where they had excavated. Overall, we are very pleased with the work done by A&A Masonry, and the commitment to customers shown by their workers such as Alex and his team.
