Of all the Estate level builders in Mahogany (namely Avi and Calbridge), Morrison Homes is definitely the most classic and professional. Everything from the efficient floorplans, ornate quality of finishings and complete Warranty service is outstanding. The staff were wonderfully patient and guided me by the hand throughout the daunting ordeal of designing a 4000+total sqft estate, with almost every detail to my exact vision of a dream home personalized to myself. The hired trades were all professional to the highest level and I could feel the pride in their work as they installed to perfection. Minor mistakes during construction were rectified almost immediately without delay to the overall schedule. More importantly, so many last minute design changes were requested by myself, and accommodated by the site supervisor without hesitation. Morrison really went above and beyond to ensure I was 100% satisfied with my perfectly customized dream home. My only qualm throughout the building experience was with their cabinet company Huntwood Cabinets. I was gouged an arm and a leg extra just to upgrade the base design to today's standard, at ridiculous prices per pot drawer and finished shelf. The quality is as nice as expected, but having built previously with Kingswood for comparable quality, Huntwood is definitely overpriced. I am relieved to hear that Morrison has since ended their dealings with Huntwood (for Kingswood nonetheless), and that my Morrison home is one of the last to have cabinets installed by Huntwood. I would like to thank the liaison team of Ruth, Neil, Carol, Lindsey and Tyler the site-supervisor for helping me build my perfect estate which I will probably live until I am demented and my family forces me out into a nursing home. Or should I come across an inheritance or second income, I look forward to building with Morrison again for a 6000+sqft lottery home on the lakefront.
