The charge to replace a faucet (undo 3 nuts, pullout old faucet, insert new, owner supplied faucet, tighten nuts, leave) of $319 is outrageous and borders on gouging. It took him under 50 minutes after which he sat in his truck on the street, apparently reading The Sun or some other paper for about an hour. To add insult he took my daughter's 'designer' faucet with him (which he since returned). Also the warranty was removed because the faucet may be used to attach a portable dishwasher!

Approximate cost of services:
$319.00

Company Response

Hello Vic, your daughter, a long standing client of ours, arranged to have us meet with you at her home as she could not be onsite. We made an exception and met with you. We’d love to touch on each of your points below. The price for us to install your daughter’s supplied faucet was given upfront, before any work was done. You agreed to said price. You could have turned us away, at no cost, if you did not like the price. Secondly, we were never told that her broken/old faucet that we were replacing was to be left onsite. However, when we were told your daughter wanted it, we returned at a later date, at our cost (no charge to her) and hand delivered the faucet to her at her front door. Finally, we cannot warranty an item that we did not provide (you provided the faucet); no one in any industry or field can or would do this. DrainWorks always strives to provide the utmost in transparency and quality of service, as evidenced by the myriad reviews here, and otherwise. Have a great weekend.
